Pros:

Très bon accueil de la réception, gentillesse, amabilité ! L’entrée de la chambre était quand même assez étroite pour rentrer avec une poussette… ainsi que l’ascenseur ! Beaucoup de bruit le soir dans le couloir (rire fort, personne qui parle) les murs ne sont pas assez isolés…

Mise à part ça, notre séjour s’est très bien passé pour une nuit ! Hôtel et chambre très propre, équipe, bienveillante et accueillante !

Géographiquement bien localisé à côté des magasins et de la place Masséna, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare.

Merci beaucoup, on n’y reviendra

Ci hanno sistemato al 2piano , stanza piccola e molto rumorosa perché stavano rifacendo la strada ! Mi hanno anche preso tre campioni di cosmetici che dovevo testare ! Le pulizie sempre fatte in ritardo nel pomeriggio inoltrato ! Oltre il prezzo chiedono una cauzione di 250 euro a garanzia ma nn si capisce di che cosa !

Housekeeping issues, construction works, reception and bat staff nice

We stayed for two nights in a standards room and privilege room with the terrace - on the 7th floor below the bar. Both rooms were tiny and there was not much difference between them but outside space. Standard room had a bathtub which actually made it better for me. Both had bathrobes and slippers.

My gold status has not been in any way recognised here. Note to elites - don’t count on anything.

Room was not yet ready for check in at 3 pm and we got drink vouchers as compensation.

Second day we were away for most of the day, yet room was not serviced when we returned at 5 pm. Interestingly I have heard another guest complaining about it day before.

There is ongoing road/ pavement construction in front of the hotel which was unbearable and hotel should have warned about it…

Reception staff is nice so is bar team but quality of accommodation is not great. Apart from terrace there is nothing attractive.
Mercure Grimaldi is a better option in Nice.
