Would definitely stay here again!
Pros:

Charming old style hotel
Pros:

If you like hotels which are big bland and corporate, this hotel is not for you. It's relaxed, friendly, perhaps in need of a glow up but that is how everyone likes it. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The (Italian) restaurant was busy on a Tuesday night and the wine list is extensive and knowledgeable. Staff are lovely.

Cons:

Would have been nice to have a fridge in the bedroom.

Historic older hotel, beautiful property, minimal amenities.
Pros:

Great location to all the historic areas of Philly. The restaurant was fabulous! The room was cozy and clean.

Cons:

There is no microwave or fridge without paying additional fees & no parking on site. They did coordinate us with the lot next door but it was overpriced and even more so if you wanted in & out access.

This has now become my favorite hotel.
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful. The lobby was quaint and sparkled with the charm that you would expect from an Old City hotel. The room was spacious, yet cozy. There was a fireplace, a leather armchair, and a big tub with jets. It was just what I needed for my night away.

Cons:

It was pretty clean, but there were a few spots in the bathroom that needed a bit of a scrub. It also seemed like the tissue wasn’t fully replaced. Other than that, everything was great.

Very Disappointing to Say The Least

Not much of anything. Hotel guests are secondary to the highly rated Italian Restaurant. No breakfast just muffins wrapped in Saran Wrap. I have a huge list of things to say about how poor this property is. Stay elsewhere.

Cons:

In the end..I didn’t like most everything about this place. Staff is indifferent, announce room number loudly at check in, tell you the key replacement fee but not that the power is blinking not to worry. No lobby to speak of, lobby chairs are filthy and stained. Tons of deferred maintenance in this place. I am sending them a list of things that I noticed as a guest. Bar should be a breakfast location..even low end hotels do better for breakfast..then a bar at night. It’s unfriendly at best. Pictures online look great..very deceiving. Hire a secret shopper..have them see it how I saw the place. Lots of room for improvement. I should have chosen a hotel that appreciates guests..just stay somewhere else.

Excelente ubicación, una experiencia muy Filadelfia.
Pros:

La atención fue muy buena por parte de Roberto quién nos dió la bienvenida. La habitacion muy confortable, un hotel antiguo pero muy bien mantenido. Un espacio acogedor que cuenta con una barra y un restaurante hermoso para catar vinos, comer y porque no tomar unas cervezas. Volvería con gusto.

Cons:

No podría decir que algo no me gustó. Todo estuvo muy bien.
