I won’t let one small incident deter me from staying there again.

Nice location.

Cons:

No dislikes but your maintenance guy was rude for walking in front of me while I was at the front desk without saying excuse me, then bummed me as he walked away. I said something to him and he acted like he didn’t understand. Look at the video of the incident. I’m the person that changed rooms after the AC unit started smoking and making a loud noise. Paid $80 for an upgrade.

Excellent stay!
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean and spacious room. I really loved the private patio and bathtub. The restaurant downstairs was lovely. Overall a great base for a short visit to Philly!

Cons:

A bit pricey but on par with prices in the area.

Charmantes Hotel mit persönlichem Touch direkt am Fluss

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, um den historischen Teil von Philadelphia zu erkunden. Es ist keins der unpersönlichen Kettenhotels, was uns gut gefallen hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die Terasse praktisch. Wir hatten zwar keinen Ausblick, aber es war schön, abends draußen zu sitzen. Wir haben netterweise auch einen Wasserkocher bekommen, so dass wir uns jederzeit Tee kochen konnten.

Cons:

Leider hatte das Zimmer keinen Kühlschrank, das hatten wir nicht gesehen. Die Terrasse war ein wenig spärlich ausgestattet mit sehr schweren Stühlen. Das könnte netter gestaltet werden. Die Klimaanlage ist ziemlich laut gewesen, das ist leider in vielen Hotels in den USA der Fall.

EXTREMELY friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The location was perfect! Even thought the hotel is located near a highway, you can't hear it at all in the room. It is right in the heart of the Old City.

Cons:

Coffee in the room would have made it PERFECT.
