Proximity to the French quarter; the staff was very pleasant; nice courtyard with small pool and lots of outdoor furniture for relaxing
As we were getting settled I moved a large upholstered chair and discovered a previous guests used socks and underwear. The louvered wood blinds were broken and didn’t close easily. The bathroom off the bar was in poor repair with no water from one sink and no soap from one dispenser. Overall, just seems to be in poor condition. No fault of the hotel but our next door neighbors were having a very loud very long verbal argument at 1:30 am and finally stopped when I pounded on the wall. I know our experience may be a one off uniquely poor stay but there is nothing that would draw us back to the hotel.
Location was good
Price was alittle high
The location is perfect . Close to everything but not noisy at night. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had a couple of issues with the plumbing in our room but these were fixed very quickly. Their recommendations for restaurants were perfect as there are a lot of overpriced tourist traps in NOLA.
I have no complaints about this place and heartily recommend it to fellow travelers.
Our room was clean, well furnished, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Great location! The staff were pleasant.
The bathroom had rusty fixtures and needed more towel bars or hooks. The only towel bar was in the shower. The Wi-Fi was unusably slow. Housekeeping came twice during our four-day stay but never replaced anything - coffee, tissue, shampoo, soap - or even emptied the water in the ice bucket. And the room really needs a refrigerator for guests to store cold drinks, leftovers, etc. There was plenty of space in the room for one.
Worst night ever in a New Orleans hotel. Loud noises until 4 am. Never again. Stay away please!!!!!
Very clean and quiet. It was an oasis from all the partying, which we also enjoyed. Great location.
Wish there was a refrigerator in the room.
Convenient location. Quiet. Beautiful courtyard and pool. Nice bar. Coffee each morning.
The rooms need refrigerators for drinks and food. Also, we hoped to have pay to view movies on the TV, but no luck.
Super charming hotel a moment's walk from Bourbon St. My friend and I enjoyed talking with the friendly staff. Beds were very comfy, room was clean. We didn't have any noise issues. Also very walkable to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cemetary, and shopping. Only things that could have made it better are a warmer pool and providing a small frig and microwave in our room. We couldn't keep any of our delicious leftovers.
The hotel location was amazing! Facilities were great except we had small issue with the shower bc there’s only a half-wall as a barrier so water ended up all over the bathroom. Just a small annoyance nothing major. And it was just a shower, no bathtub which is what I prefer. Place was really nice and clean. Bed was really comfy! Idk if we would stay again but we definitely would consider it.
First thing was we booked a king room and ended up with a double. Not a huge huge deal but we absolutely prefer king beds instead of 2 queen or full beds. So I was annoyed but not a deal breaker by any means. But then when I let them know their response was “oh”. That was it. No offer to see if there was a king room available, no apology. Nothing. Just “oh”. Bf was not happy. Also the credit card for incidentals…so there was a $500 hold in my bank acct until they could check th room I guess and make sure there was no damage or anything stolen. So that stayed on my acct for maybe 5-6 days. Fine. But then they still charged an extra $125 or $150 (can’t remember exact amount) after the $500 hold was released. Not sure wha that was for but I’m going to call and find out wth. For the most part a nice pleasant stay but those things I definitely didn’t like.
The staff was so sweet and the whole hotel vibe was right on point. The pool area amazing and beautiful. Lobby is so elegant
To be honest, we really didn't have any things we didn't like, but one night, we had kids above us it beside us and they ran and yelled the whole night. The walls are thin. Some one in hall heard us as well when we were " having a conversation 😉" but other then that....it was beautiful and amazing.. Simply perfect
My wife and I called the reservation line because we weren’t seeing the option of selecting a balcony room on the homepage. We spoke to the reservation staff for le Marais (not a booking agent) and asked specifically for a balcony room multiple times. We were given a quote for three nights and before hanging up I reiterated that this price was in fact for a balcony room and was told YES.
Our quote including taxes and fees was for $1091.64, however after we checked out, we later looked back at the receipt, and were charged $1215.41. We were charged an upgrade fee of $25 per night (3 x $25) for the balcony “upgrade” even though that was what we asked for and were quoted on originally. There are also $48.77 in other fees that weren’t in the original quote. We called and explained that we were billed incorrectly and they said they would escalate the issue to management. We never received any further contact.
Obviously we won’t be staying at either property in the future.
Close to everything.
Could’ve been cleaner.
scouted for a few plastic utensils but struck out.
We love the atmosphere
No coffee in the morning
Perfect location, within walking distance to everything. The room was clean and comfortable. Service was great. Super friendly, helpful staff greeted us each time we arrived and left the hotel. We found our room to be very quiet; no problems with noise. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything
The darn elevator was slow lol
Location was perfect especially for Mardi Gras! Hotel was clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable. The shower has no door which makes for a mess. The value was great in my opinion. Unfortunately the pool was not heated. The service was impeccable and the staff was very friendly. The noise of the balcony wasn’t bad until 3am daily trash pick up. That part was no bueno. I definitely would come back.
The property was pretty nice . There was only one staff person doing everything and so many time they would be gone for a bit from the front desk . Though the poor guy did help us get our luggage, , helped me take it to our room why’ll my husband parked our vehicle. They were the doorman , bell hop , front desk manger etc. Our room was clean and neat , but the ice machine didn’t work on our floor and our t.v. was pretty sad. The shower had issues, but luckily my husband is an engineer and got it working for me ..
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel , it just needs a bit of work . Though only used the housekeeping once . They cleaned the bathroom , but didn’t vacuum the floor and it had confetti all over and didn’t need to change the bedding so I think they could have cleaned the floor.
