Fine hotel in an undesirable area
Pros:

The room had everything we needed for one night, we weren’t in the room much anyways, it was one of the cheaper options in the area. Was only around the corner from the comedy show we went to.

Cons:

First thing they should tell you is that they are directly next door to a halfway house. There were people on drugs dancing in the street, might not be the best environment for families. Should be cheaper considering the location. It was a bit noisy throughout the night of doors and sounds banging.

Not the best
Pros:

I must say I did like that some things were new at this hotel and the security was on top of keeping the parking lots safe for the most part.

Cons:

A few things....on the sandman website it stats the breakfast is open at 6am however the breakfast opened at 6:30am and this was a huge inconvinces for many people staying at Sandman, The amount of drug use so close to the hotel was unreal and a one point in the morning there were 3 drug users in the back parking lot and they had knives and other sharp weapons and proceeded to carve the tree on the property with a hatchet (check for yourself) Also not very wheelchair or accessibility friendly as my husband walks with 2 canes and was unable to make his way around the hotel and the rooms are not suitable for his as the rooms with 2 beds did not have a accessibility shower.

Cons:

No check in until 4pm unless you pay a big extra, I was there at 1:30pm, Eco charge that is not explained and I am not sure it is necessary to pay? renovating room and beds had too small of mattress so iron sticking out 6inches were tripping hazard, but hotel says the are being fixed.
