Everything was fine
The location of the hotel was as central as you could get, surrounded by independent local traders, plenty of cafes and shops.
The hotel was beautifully clean and very well maintained.
All the staff we met were extremely nice and nothing was too much trouble BUT we want to give a massive shout out and thank you to Shona, what an absolute star she is and a credit to the hotel.

The water pressure was gone on our last morning for showers etc ..The car park details need to be more precise and a clear break between car park details.
Beautiful decor in the room, nice wine bar/restaurant right there, and very close to shops, restaurants and all the local offerings. The Bakewell bakeries deserve their reputation. Town location is good for accessing Peak District and as an overnight driving stop between northern England and London. Comfortable bed. Also quiet.
Parking was a nightmare, I don't recommend it if you are travelling with heavy luggage, or if you are not fully connected to mobile/internet/wifi at the exact point you are trying to locate the hotel, and then park. Even temporary parking while trying to check in is absent, we had to illegally park for 20 minutes. Parking area is 200m from hotel, right next to two other car parks that have various confusing signs; there is no indication that you have parked in the correct place for hotel. It would be good to get a very clear little map at reception showing exactly where to park, rather than a specific postal code that presumes you know what it means, and how to use it. The bathroom was beautiful but there were no shelves or anywhere to put any bathroom gear, including in the modular shower.
It looks like a new boutique hotel . Very clean , neat and modern . It’s also centrally located .The room is spacious .
It does not have a hairdryer in the room !

Cuando llegamos, me cobraron 2 habitaciones. Yo había hecho reserva de 1 habitación para 3 personas. Así que tuve que desembolsar el doble. Y vi mi reserva y decía que no era reembolsable. Tengo más de 20 años reservando cada año en mis viajes a Europa y siempre busco CANCELACIÓN GRATUITA, yo nunca he hecho una "Sin reembolso" me sentí asaltada. Chequen bien. Cuando llegamos no pudimos usar el elevador, hasta que no sacaran todo lo de la lavandería. Y para colmo cuando llegamos a nuestro piso. Un tremendo tiradero de ropa de cama y toallas. La empleada se dio cuenta que tomé una foto de su desorden y " se disculparon" eso no corresponde con el precio de una noche por la habitación y que me cambiaran a sin reembolso. Tiene buena ubicación. No hay mucho donde escoger en bakewell. No volveré a ese hotel.
Great central location.
Parking on the Sunday night was a bit of a pain
Excellent sized room, quite, good views from the window. Great sized bed and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The central location was very convenient. Would stay again.
The bathroom mirror light was faulty, was unable too turn off. The shower head could have been better.
Room excellent (Hardwick), very spacious and comfortable and shower was superb. Good food in the restaurant (we had evening meal on one night and had continental breakfast both days). Excellent location. Special mention to Shona on Reception who was very friendly and helpful - excellent customer service.
A shelf in the bathroom would be a great addition - only an under sink cupboard to store toiletries.
The staff were really excellent and the room was fantastic. So much room and the bed was massive and like sleeping on a big fluffy cloud.

Excellent location, excellent finish within the rooms, bathroom new and clean, carpets and furnishings clean and plush.
Bed comfy and Huge.
The outside doors locked at 10pm for security which is great but our key fob to get us back in didn’t work and so we were locked out at 10:30pm. Phone call needed to get the doors opened which worked fine.
Location, massive room. Comfortable bed, which was superior.

The location was good, the directions for parking were terrible. The breakfast the next morning for very poor for the money. Everything was cheap and not boutique as they advertise, we would not recomend or stop again sadly
