Nothing short of a dream, we really enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

It was our first stay at Novotel and I can confidently say that we will be coming back. As a family, we had an early event the next day. Being an hour away from Newcastle, it made it worthy to stay over and be closer to the venue. On our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff. Check in was speedy and we were up to our room within 5 minutes! The room was spacious, clean and very welcoming. Once settled, we came down to the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious with the most friendly staff. The bar has a kids corner which was 10/10. My children loved it and all the different activities that was there. We then got settled for the night in the very comfy beds. During the night, we had a very unsettled baby. I ended up going to reception to ask whether they had any milk as we had ran out. At 3.30am, without any hesitation the kind staff member went to the kitchen and filled my baby’s bottle up. I was so relieved. The morning came and we went down for breakfast, again welcomed by the most friendly staff. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of choice. We filled our bellies up ready to tackle the day. I am so grateful that I managed to find this hotel, 10/10!!!

Awful took my daughter away for new year and hotel obviously homeless people which you let people no before hand

Pros:

The variety of breakfast.

Cons:

I expected the hotel to still have a swimming pool as we stayed there before COVID and just presumed it was still there. My fault for not checking but I was quite disappointed that there wasn't one. Also there was a strong smell of cannabis each time we went outside which kind of put us off a bit.

Pros:

welcoming staff and a nice clean room getting hotel a little tired but a comfy bed 10 minutes from the airport. ok for a quick stay for work.

Cons:

just a bit in need of a refit average except staff and breakfast
