Everything was wonderful! The hotel is gorgeous, and the staff is excellent. They went above the expectation to
Make our stay special. My wife said anytime we are back in New Orleans we won’t stay anywhere else.
There was nothing we found unacceptable
Muy bien hotel con personal muy atento y buenas habitaciones, amplias y confortables
Lo que menos nos gustó fue el desayuno, pero existen buenas alternativas en los alrededores
Great!!!
Our room was beautifully appointed and furnished! Every need was met with prompt and friendly service. The hidden speakeasy bar and complementary wine and cheese was not the more usual type of hotel "free" offerings -but top notch wines and cheese boards. The hotel was the highlight of our first visit to New Orleans!
This is a beautiful hotel, it has real French charm. Rooms are beautiful, comfy beds. Sheets could be bit softer. Service is great, love the coffee/tea service at your door each morning. Breakfast was delightful. Loved the speakeasy room and love the decor of the bar area. We will be back!
Absolutely loved this property and the entire team working there. It was such an amazing experience all-around!
Great hotel and even better service and staff! Quality and clean rooms, with the most comfortable and cozy elevated beds and bathrooms. I will be coming back.
Amazing
This was our first visit to NOLA in 25 years and we left our originally booked hotel because of the room conditions.
We were so happy to find Maison Metiere!!!! The hotel was wonderful with beautiful accommodations, incredible staff, excellent restaurant and so many unique extras. We will make this our home away from home for the next several years.
Outstanding property. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is wonderful and the quality of the property is top notch. We will be back.
Beautiful property. Quaint, intimate and peaceful. Perfect retreat for work. Note that pool and gy.lm amenities are located next door, at sister property "The Barnett". On-site restaurant only serves breakfast, but sister property has a decent restaurant, as well as other local eats nearby.
Not a cookie cutter hotel-you feel it as soon as you enter the scented lobby with a huge bowl of pistachios. This place is a vibe and an experience in itself. No coffeemakers in the room, but morning drop-offs of thermoses of coffee/tea (and whatever milk you want) as early as you need. All-day $10 honor bar with basic mixers (no simple syrup I could see). Happy hour at 4 with wine and charcuterie. Speakeasy with hidden exit to SalonSalon which has the best whisky sours and elevated bar food.
We found the location to be safe and quiet, a 5 minute stroll to Rouse’s Market which has a Starbucks, raw and cooked food, and 20 minutes walk to the French Quarter which made us feel better about the great NOLA meals we enjoyed. Oh, and if you enjoy a nice bubble bath after a long day out, this place still has tubs available!
Great staff and first class property
Amazing place to stay.
My second stay there. Very different for New Orleans as other high end hotels cater to guests coming for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest or sporting events. Maison Metier provides high end comfort, privacy and personal interaction with staff.
The hotel is very pretty but I would not consider it 5 star. The air conditioning wasn’t working for the first 24 hours we were there and we recieved no notice and or reimbursement. It was 90degrees outside. I had asked for coffee every day at 0730 and had to call for it 2 out of the 3 days. Bed wasn’t that comfortable. Beautiful decorations and nice having the wine and cheese even tho the lobby was sweltering when we went.
