The room was smelled so bad, the carpet was stained and sticky.

After we were there about 20 minutes the power went off. It was over 100 degrees out and the rooms quickly became an oven. We told the young lady at the front desk, we were leaving.
Any communication about a refund have been fruitless.

worst hotel I've stayed in domestically. I think the sheets were clean, but they were in rough shape, with cigaret burns and discoloration stains. Carpet, bathroom tile, furniture, it was all gross.

Price point to value/amenities lacking

Bed

Upon initial entry I immediately noticed the beds and how sloppily they were made. One bed had 2 pillows and the other had 4 pillows and the bedspreads were wrinkly as if someone had been rolling around on it. After I was in bed I felt something hard poking my foot under the fitted sheet. I was so tired that I just moved to the other side of the bed instead of taking the bedding off to find out what it was.
The bathtub was not clean - I had been looking forward to a relaxing soak after my long 10 hrs drive but was unable and it was too late and I was too tired to run to the store to grab cleanser and scrubbies to clean it myself.
I have cleaned rooms at a Best Western Plus so I do know what a room should look like and this room failed miserably.

I didn't like that all the pictures and online booking sites show cereal, waffles and coffee when there was barely coffee at all. And laundry was advertised yet when we arrive it was out of service. For an Econo Lodge, I am extremely disappointed. Also, your staff was extremely rude to a customer that booked and paid for a handicap accessible room and I just didn't like the way you conduct business. Your hotel would be fine if you were charging $50.00 a night.

“Short-staffed”. And not overly friendly or helpful. Pet friendly but no place to walk dog!
Heater did not work-had to transfer to another room

Filthy.bad bed old thin walls

Very rude front desk lady. Also she charge me 118 a night for the first three nights and then when I told her that I was going to book another night, she told me that my room was already sold so she could give a different room 138 a nigh. I said ok. Next day she ended up giving me the very same room but still charging me 138. I feel ripped off.
