My room came with a couch in it. The couch was covered in what I assume is dog pee.
Hallways have no overhead lights or AC.
Overall a gross and dingy hotel.
Great breakfast and a nice place to stay. Pleased with all aspects of the facility. Friendly staff, clean room with a comfortable bed.
I can't think of anything.
One of the worst Hampton Inns we’ve stayed at and we’ve stayed in many as Hampton Inns are our preferred hotels. It was not up to Hampton Inn standards at all. It’s in desperate need of updates, and maintenance. Thankfully, we only stayed here one night. The elevator was not working for a short time while we were there and there is only one elevator at this hotel. The gym smelled like cat urine and has obvious signs of water leaks near the towel/water station where the baseboards are separated from the wall. Our room was tidy but old and outdated. We had a couple of roaches in our bathroom and our toilet wouldn’t flush the morning we were leaving. Our toilet tank lid looked like it had been dropped a few times. The chairs in the room (office chair and sitting chair) were dirty and very worn. The hotel’s “business center” was literally a shelf in the front lobby where the breakfast eating area is located and consisted of a printer, a phone, some tape. The hallways and lobby were warm and humid…..Felt like the a/c was not able to keep up with Alabama summer heat. The staff was friendly. All this place needs is some TLC and renovation.
Location
Older and small.
Breakfast and coffee were great! Afternoon cookies and waters were very nice.
Rooms were clean - just dated, bathrooms especially need repair and updating. Price was good for Hilton, but i guess I expected more.
When I checked in - I was scolded because my husbands name was on the rewards and he was not with me - even though I made the booking in my name - on booking.com.
The only complaint I have is that the air didn’t seem to work the best and it was kind of stuffy in room other than that everything was good!
I’ll start by saying the staff is amazing. I booked this hotel based on the review rating on the Hilton app, which unfortunately did not hold true.
The hotel is very run down and in desperate need of a renovation. The couch in our room was stained, ripped and had a cigarette burn on it. I found a dead roach in the hallway on my floor. I would not stay here again.
Everything was excellent.
The water pressure was so hard you couldn't stand it in room 320. They assured us they would get it fixed before we return.
