Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little too hard for my liking.
The staff is ALWAYS amazing! Clean, welcoming and just the perfect away place. The treats are awesome too! Cookies and Salmon chowder!! Such a great stay, always. If you haven't stayed here, give it a try, you'll never need to search again.

Annually, the Kathryn Riverfront Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection, has been our family's spring break destination. Each trip they continue to make us feel at home and valued as guests. They offer great features and amenities such as an indoor pool, easy access to downtown Seaside, spacious rooms with microwave, refrigerator and balconies. Also pet friendly allowing our family's dog to be part of the spring break experience. The team is hospitable and friendly. Daily infused water, cookies and clam chowder are provided for guests. These were a big hit with our family. We highly recommend anyone visiting Seaside, OR with or without their family make the Kathryn their hotel home during their stay.
The Kathryn is located right in the heart of Seaside. Everything was amazing from the front desk staff, the room and the nice housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Ready to go back and stay again.
The location on the river was nice and loved the balcony overlooking the river for each room. The staff were very nice and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was okay, not bad, but not great. I liked how the pool and exercise room were 24 hours for adults. Unfortunately, the light on the balcony couldn’t be turned off and really lit up the room at night. It made it hard for me to sleep. It also made for a lot of light pollution outside which is a drag. They really need to install switches for the balcony lights so guests can turn them off.

Location was amazing, staff was incredible and friendly, and the room was beautiful! My only complaint would be related to cleanliness, the jacuzzi didn’t seem to be the cleanest so we didn’t feel like using it which was really why we had paid more for the upgraded room and one of the hand towels looked like it had poop on it if not some other brown stain on it. The towels in general weren’t the cleanest. Loved the 24/7 pool but there were kids hiding in the sauna after 10 PM during adult hours. Glad we chose the location regardless.
Everything was convenient, accommodating, and relaxing. Free salmon chowder surprise in the lobby, cozy bathtubs for the spa, and a beautiful river view off the balcony.
Ideal location. Right on the river and easily walkable to everything. The friendliest staff around. I will never stay anywhere else!
Nothing to dislike except that I can’t come here more often!
