Only room we could find in area due to soccer tournament and sand castle contest.
Room was a little tired and unable to get dark due to the blind on the door. Nice being walking distance to beach but view was not of the river but of the bridge.
Easy walk ability to everything. Close to beach , shops, restaurants.
Light on balcony stayed on all night. No way to turn it off. Fireplace pilot light heated up room. Had to Lowe a/c to cool room.
The location was great
I liked everything
Location, room

Leaving
Clean and friendly staff, we checked in early with no problems
Location location location.
We were told upon check in that we would need to wear ear plugs because the bar across the street is loud every night and people leaving always wake people up. They were right.
The location and the swim time. The breakfast was also good. View of river off balcony was nice.
The snacks, got in early luv that was a plus good breakfast buffet
Only got to use the pool once.the pool was down the rest of the time for maintenance
How welcoming and amazing amenities. I loved the view as well.
Nothing
Location
Room was way smaller than as described and looked nothing like the picture
Proximity of everything
Pretty run down and pool was very dirty (cloudy). We were not comfortable getting into the pool. Hot tub was “ok”. Temp was good.
The hotel is in a good location; nice view of the river to watch the waterfowl; staff was very friendly and helpful. Cookies and juice in the afternoon and clam chowder later were a nice touch. The breakfast was good and substantial; we especially loved the biscuits.
A big downside is the lack of towel bars. We are fine reusing our towels but need a place to let them dry. One hook on the back of the door is not sufficient for more than 1 person. It would also be nice to supply more washcloths at the start as housekeeping does not come to replace them daily.
The other issue we had was lack of any light to operate the coffee machine. I had to use my flashlight in order to see the fill line for the water.
