I got what I needed, a good nights sleep and good cup of tea. Dilmah is better than the cheap stuff

Room was clean and sufficient for my needs

Cons:

Would have preferred fresh milk to be in the room rather than on request, outside windows were very dirty.
I understand the perspective with the milk, perhaps reception could mention it next time.

Tolle Lage
Pros:

Die Lage ist toll, direkt zentral, man ist sofort mittendrin. Kurzer Weg zur Bucht, sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer war sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Ausstattung mäßig.
Die Zimmer sehr hellhörig, sicherlich auch bedingt durch die Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer.

Our room had a great view of the ferry terminal and it was literally across the street from Te Papa and supermarket

We would stay here again, but hope the room would be refurbished.
Pros:

This hotel is perfectly located, a short walk to all amenities and the water. . Easy to find, good parking area, if a bit expensive at $20 a day. Very helpful and friendly staff. Can recommend the restaurant, excellent service and lovely food.
Great room size, plenty of space to put our gear.

Cons:

The hotel room was a bit worn, showing it's age. A refurb would be good. The windows needed cleaning.
