For a hotel of this category, the noise from the hallways (and the light!) gets into the rooms WAY more than it should. I also had bad luck with neighbors who were slamming their door, but still, consider this!
The staff are awesome! I especially appreciated the staff in the Bistro. Kim was my server each morning for breakfast and she was awesome!!

Enjoyable Resort Pass kind of a Saturday
At the outdoor pool.
But especially want to write this review about the young man that was the server for the pool. His name is Jadon. He was very friendly professional and not in a rush. The experience at a pool outside during a relaxing Saturday should be unrushed and enjoyable. He was actually all of that. I spoke to his supervisor about his performance and genuine Hospitality. I hope more of his supervisors acknowledge this review and give him a raise. He deserves it and that his work ethic expands into a career for him.
I want to acknowledge Jadon, a wonderful young man that is the pool concierge. He was very accommodating and attentive. The pool was at capacity and watching him take care of food orders and drinks was fascinating. Take notice Marriott, you have someone dedicated to his job and future!
We had a fantastic stay this past week during the boat show, and a big part of that experience was thanks to Kim.
From the moment we arrived, Kim was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Over the course of the week, she checked in regularly, anticipated needs before we even had to ask, and handled everything with a warm, professional demeanor that truly stood out.
When you’re in town for something as busy as a boat show, having someone like Kim looking out for you makes all the difference. She made our stay feel seamless and genuinely enjoyable.

We a great breakfast and wonderful experience at Bistro 1001 at the Marriott in West Palm. The food was delicious and our server Kim couldn't have been more attentive and informative. As an example, when I ordered avocado toast she mentioned that the egg comes hard boiled unless you wanted it done differently. It's a small thing, but I actually prefer it over medium. She made our mimosas just the way we like them. She also told us about some nearby attractions that we might want to visit, and mentioned that we could come back to eat there and not have to pay for parking. She made us feel so welcomed.
We also sat at the bar last night and had quesadillas. They were made from scratch and fresh. The bartender was also very attentive. Will definitely visit again even if we're not staying on property.
The location is nice, right on the outskirts of the nice downtown area, still walkable to Kravis Center etc. The hotel is definitely aging and their astronomical rates are not really justified by the quality of the rooms. Front desk was nice but not particularly welcoming to upper elites.
Kim was the best server we have had in a long time.. Very pleasant and friendly...Thanks so much for a great breakfast and morning!!!!
Bistro food was good. Service from waitress, Kim was superb. She was friendly and efficient. She was an outstanding representative of the hotel
Hotel was good, yet their breakfast, wonderfully served by Kim was exceptional. Her friendliness made our day and stay.
All the five star ratings reference Kim and she is indeed lovely but take her out of the equation and this place is terrible. Phone doesn’t work in the room and when someone finally came up to look at it they never came back to fix it. The next day we asked again and was then told it wasn’t fixable. Asked for a microwave and it took all day to arrive. Second day housekeeping never came and when we asked to send them up they never showed up. Rooms apparently are renovated but there are almost no drawers and the bathrooms still have the dated brown granite countertops.
I’m ambassador status and while I don’t expect the red carpet to be rolled out for me, I do expect basic service…especially for this price point. It’s a full service Marriott but really just a Courtyard in disguise. Can’t wait to get out of here tomorrow.
Kim was very pleasant and professional. I appreciate her hustle. I recommend anyone to stay here. Food was also delicious.
