The location is nice, right on the outskirts of the nice downtown area, still walkable to Kravis Center etc. The hotel is definitely aging and their astronomical rates are not really justified by the quality of the rooms. Front desk was nice but not particularly welcoming to upper elites.
Kim was the best server we have had in a long time.. Very pleasant and friendly...Thanks so much for a great breakfast and morning!!!!
Bistro food was good. Service from waitress, Kim was superb. She was friendly and efficient. She was an outstanding representative of the hotel
Hotel was good, yet their breakfast, wonderfully served by Kim was exceptional. Her friendliness made our day and stay.
All the five star ratings reference Kim and she is indeed lovely but take her out of the equation and this place is terrible. Phone doesn’t work in the room and when someone finally came up to look at it they never came back to fix it. The next day we asked again and was then told it wasn’t fixable. Asked for a microwave and it took all day to arrive. Second day housekeeping never came and when we asked to send them up they never showed up. Rooms apparently are renovated but there are almost no drawers and the bathrooms still have the dated brown granite countertops.
I’m ambassador status and while I don’t expect the red carpet to be rolled out for me, I do expect basic service…especially for this price point. It’s a full service Marriott but really just a Courtyard in disguise. Can’t wait to get out of here tomorrow.
Kim was very pleasant and professional. I appreciate her hustle. I recommend anyone to stay here. Food was also delicious.
Wife and I had breakfast at the on-site restaurant and Kim was our server. Incredibly nice and accommodating! We needed to work on our laptops for several hours and Kim let us stay in our booth in her section for as long as necessary. Kim checked on us regularly. Ask for Kim! Breakfast was excellent too.
Kim was fantastic and is full of joy. We enjoyed our breakfast sitting on the outdoor deck. Food was also very good. A great start to our day
Loved this place, first time here, walking distance to the beautiful shops and hotel up-kept very well. Huge shout out to Jerome, who went out of his way to look for my kids favorite cereals for breakfast which he found!, and another huge shout out to Gabe, at the front desk who was so nice to my kids when they were choosing drinks, helped us with our luggage and was very friendly and kind.
This place is disgustingly moldy, the shower doesn’t drain properly and the floors are slanted so it flooded the entryway and destroyed my shoes. The staff is careless and sloppy. They lost my checked luggage. Gave it away to someone else. Can’t be recovered. I had to teach the front desk girl how to even put the claim tag on…. Which clearly was a lost cause. They make the motel in schitts creek look lovely.
Problem solving by Tyrell at the front desk, restaurant was very friendly.
We have a back-to-back reservation as part of our stay was with a group. At check-in, I confirmed twice that we were checked in for the entire stay, specifically verifying the dates. Despite this, on day two, our keys stopped working, we were checked out automatically, and I even received a receipt by email.
After getting that sorted at the desk, we returned to our room at 3 PM to find it hadn't been cleaned. We called housekeeping to ask for service and at least some toilet paper (only one roll was provided at check-in). When I called to ask for an estimated time, 30 minutes later, I was given a "lecture" that I had only called "29 minutes and 29 seconds ago" and that with 350 rooms, they would get to us when they get to us. It took a second trip to the front desk to finally get this addressed.
Additionally, the bed was fitted with a sheet that was way too small, which immediately came undone. I asked the staff to change it and was assured it would be handled, but I returned to find the same sheet still on the bed. At this point I gave up…
From the moment I arrived I was treated so nice. Loved the staff at this hotel, but I want to give special recognition to an Agent from the front desk named Gabe. He went above and beyond to help me to move rooms to something that I was happy with. He brought me my key upstairs to move just amazing. Thank you.
Great food, clean facility, nice pool area.
No counter space in the bathroom. And paying for parking. I paid 264 per night and then saw they were advertising for $160 a night. My friends had an identical room with a bigger bathroom and counter space and she paid 180 a night.
Greeter checking me in was very accommodating. Bill i think.. he was pleasant and very informative for directions to my concert that evening.
Would have been nice to forewarn of parking cost.. already paying over $200 for a room, and then parking charge on top of that. Kind of outrageous. No information as to how to enter the parking without knowledge of parking cost.
Functional hotel, a bit dated, but it works out ok. Location is a 10 minute to City Place and 20 minute walk to Clematis St. Kim who works the restaurant in the mornings is awesome!! Lobby employees are professional and efficient.
Kim and Franklin are the best! Awesome breakfast sandwich.
The people there were lazy and rude! The only great thing about this place was Kimberly. She was so attentive to our needs, went above and beyond and was the sweetest!! I do feel bad that she has to work with people who just stand there on their phones and do not attend to customers needs. Kimberly worked so hard for us and again she was amazing! She is a very good asset for such an unpleasant place. Thank you again Kimberly for your hard work for us!
Kim was wonderful as our wait staff! Very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The avocado toast was delicious!
Kim was great. She was extremely helpful, kind and efficient. She went above and beyond. Service at its best! Cheers to Kim. Made our breakfast experience lovely.
We had breakfast and our waitress Kim was amazing. She came over check on us multiple times you must spend time talking with us, but just feel very special
