I recommend this hotel for stopping before/after going to Sequoia NP
Pros:

It is a more or less standard Marriot (which means it's a very decent hotel), but I noticed that the mattress on my king size bed was EXCEPTIONALLY good.
The room was very big and comfortable.

Over charged
Pros:

They double charged me fire my stay and have not processed a refund.

Cons:

The staff was knocking at our room at 10am wanting to clean our room when check out was at noon.
