Même si cela peut paraître anecdotique, lorsqu’on réserve une chambre double avec terrasse et vue sur mer dans un établissement de cette catégorie, on ne s’attend pas à n’y trouver qu’un seul peignoir de bain et une seule paire de pantoufles. Ce sont précisément des détails que le majordome est censé avoir vérifiés en amont.
On ne s’attend pas davantage à devoir chercher partout un fer à repasser, comme si l’équipement de base de la chambre n’avait pas été contrôlé avant l’arrivée des clients.

Charme en (een beetje vergane) grandeur, vriendelijk personeel, maar wel toe aan een opknapbeurt.
Pros:

Een hotel met veel charme en een vleugje grandeur. Hoewel het erg groot is, heeft het een prettige uitstraling. De ligging vlak bij het strand is uitstekend, het personeel is vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Al met al een prettig verblijf op een mooie locatie.

Cons:

Als minpunt zouden we noemen dat het hotel hier en daar wat vergane glorie uitstraalt. Dat merkten we onder andere doordat wij bij het boeken niet hadden gezien dat onze kamer niet over airconditioning beschikte. Iets wat je niet verwacht in een 5 sterren hotel . Gelukkig was dat geen probleem omdat de buitentemperaturen tijdens ons verblijf aangenaam waren. Daarnaast zouden de badkamer en met name de douche en het bad wel een opknapbeurt kunnen gebruiken; de kitnaden vertoonden op sommige plaatsen schimmelvorming…

Expérience décevante et frustrante
Pros:

L’hôtel est parfaitement situé, le lit était confortable, la vue magnifique et le petit déjeuner était délicieux.

La chambre avait une bonne isolation phonique.

Cons:

L’accueil et le service n’étaient pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 étoiles.

La salle de bain était belle et spacieuse, mais la douche ainsi que la baignoire alternaient constamment entre l’eau chaude et froide lorsque quelqu’un d’autre utilisait l’eau. L’évacuation de l’eau de la douche/baignoire était quasi bouchée.

Nous avons également appelé la réception à trois reprises (à 30 min d’intervalles) pour obtenir des bouteilles d’eau que nous n’avons finalement jamais reçues.
