ibis Brussels off Grand Place

Went for a mini christmas trip for the christmas markets. The location is 10/10 there is a Xmas market outside the hotel. Hotel was clean, comfortable and no issues with my stay. Would 100% recommend and would stay again

Very rude staff , horrible service . Stale breakfast and dirty rooms . International tourist should totally avoid the place .

It was beside the central train station and some footsteps away from the grand place. We loved that they let us have an early check-in without charging. Calm and clean rooms and nice breakfast. Friendly personnel. Super!!!

Location of this hotel is perfect, staff are super friendly and accommodating. They interacted with my 3 year old and gave her sweets and high fives, nothing was too much trouble, thank you Rosa and Ramona!! Our room was a triple room, very spacious and spotlessly clean, we had a great view over toward the grand place. Overall a brilliant stay in a beautiful city, thank you again.

The location is perfect. Staff are friendly. But the mattress is horrible. I’m not picky with mattresses but this was horrid. I had to change rooms because the mattress in the first room was dented so badly (body indent). The mattress in the second room was slightly better but not by much as it did slant to one side. I can’t believe how bad the mattresses are!! Clearly they need to be replaced. Also the room is showing its age. Chipped paint on the walls etc. I wouldn’t return to this hotel unfortunately. It’s a shame though because as I said the location is fantastic.

Room rather hot due to policy of no suing air-conditioning in the winter period. Provided with a fan by reception to cold the room. Otherwise excellent. Great location and setting in Brussels City centre

Hotel is few steps from Grand Place, lot of restaurants and stores, near Brussels central, and carrefour.
Receptionist is nice - they allowed early check in as the room was available. Compared to Ibis Amsterdam Centre where we stayed for 4 nights, the room in Ibis Brussels has more space, table for writing, bigger washroom. There is free water refill

We had a great time at Ibis… we were very pleased with the option of early check in after our night flight. Staff were super helpful and location is amazing. Definitely will come back again.

Planning to sleep late before my flight to US, the hotel did not warn us construction would begin ten feet away at 9am. The front desks response was to ask why I wasn’t eating their 28euro breakfast.

Great location, clean room with nice bathroom. Friendly staff & good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Room quite small & no tea or coffee making facilities, thought that was always standard in a room. Outside noise is a problem if you have the window open, but if closed it’s ok

I was genuinely looking forward to my stay at Ibis Brussels Off Grand Place, but the hotel canceled my confirmed reservation just an hour before arrival after 36 hours of travel, citing a missing credit card “guarantee” that was never required when booking directly through their site. Staff offered no solutions and left me scrambling for last-minute accommodations.

If this can happen to a confirmed guest, it raises serious concerns about reliability—something travelers should be able to count on. To make matters worse, the reception staff noted that this situation was not special and had happened to multiple other guests before! If you do book here, exercise caution and double-check your reservation—especially if your travel needs are critical or tightly scheduled.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the August bank holiday weekend. The hotel is a short cab ride from the Eurostar terminal and is located within walking distance of many of the city's attractions. The main station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel itself is lovely and all staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was a good size, very clean with no noise of a night. Breakfast was very good and the bar is perfect for an afternoon/evening drink with tables outside where you can sit and watch the world go by!
There are shops and restaurants outside the hotel and more within a short walking distance.
We will stay here again when we return for a longer visit!

Centrally located

Had an extra day in a business trip so booked here. Well situated (steps from the Grand Place and restaurant/cafe options). Very comfortable room. No fitness centre. Did not try on-site dining because of all the options in the Grand Place. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Love the Ibis brand and would stay here again.

Hotel location is very convenient for exploring Brussels city center. Staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms were above average. Good value for amenities and location

The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the room was hot , but other than that it was clean, quiet and a great location
