Comfortable cleaning and food was great
And the drinks
Shower pressure in my room was low
The made to order inlets were wonderful. Hotel is in excellent location with the local free trolley right across the street. Really comfy bed!!
Parking garage has so many signs it’s a little confusing. But garage is convenient
It was a great location near the yellow line Metro stop. Very convenient. The rooms were quite ample in size and the bed was very comfortable. The two beds each seemed queen size though they were listed as smaller. I was very happy with that. I stayed four nights and never needed to have the towels or sheets changed because there were plenty to begin with. They did have a happy hour where you were able to get a couple of free drinks. The atrium was quite large and comfortable. The staff was excellent.
There was also much not to like. Although the breakfast was free, it was the worst quality I’ve ever had of any breakfast at any hotel at any level of quality hotel. Even the utensils were very cheap metal and could bend easily while trying to cut the very tough waffles or bagels or anything that required that. The coffee was mediocre to bad. The selection of food was also poor although I guess it doesn’t matter if no matter what you have, of any variety, is going to be bad.
Everything was perfect. From the welcome to the goodbye.
The happy hour didn’t start until 5:30
The breakfast has so many options! The rooms were very spacious. My favorite part is the trolly stop literally across the street!
No bell service, have to lug your own suitcases.
Additional cost for parking, should be included with room.
We cannot say enough amazing things about Sonia, the wedding coordinator at Embassy Suites Old Town Alexandria. From our very first interaction, Sonia was an absolute dream to work with. She is professional, incredibly organized, calm under pressure, and truly cares about her couples.
Sonia went above and beyond every step of the way. She was always responsive, patient, and attentive to even the smallest details. No question was ever too small, and no request felt like a burden—she handled everything with such grace and confidence that it immediately put us at ease. Her experience really shows, and it made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
On the wedding day, Sonia was phenomenal. Everything ran seamlessly and on time, and we were able to fully enjoy our day knowing she had everything under control. She anticipated needs before we even realized them and made sure every detail was executed perfectly. Our guests also commented on how well-organized and beautiful everything was.
If you are considering hosting your wedding at Embassy Suites Old Town Alexandria, having Sonia as your coordinator is truly a gift. She is an incredible asset to the hotel and a wonderful person to work with. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and more than we could have ever hoped for.
Love Embassy Suites, great breakfast, great layout, Staff was super. Close to metro stop and great places to eat
My son is on the autism spectrum, and he absolutely loves staying at the Embassy Suites Old Town. I promised him we would come back, and bringing him and the rest of our family was truly special for us. Our stay was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming, which meant more to us than words can express. They made our family feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. This hotel holds a very special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the wonderful experience.i would like to recognize the two professionals, Steven FOM and Aiden Bartender, who made our stay exceptionally memorable.
Thank you. Keep on keeping 💪
Everything was wonderful.
In Old Town Alexandria, Virginia the Embassy Suites is in close proximity to all of Old Town with several restaurants just out the door , a Whole Foods across the street and an available train station across the street. Breakfast at all Embassy Suites has omelettes made to order. Afternoon happy hour 5-7 pm complimentary beer or wine along with appetizers. Rooms are large with a large separate bedroom and decent sized bathroom. My only issue is the parking garages which are run by a third party company not Hilton and are everywhere in old town. The only free parking is Whole Foods garage and some restaurants comp parking for patrons.
Breakfast was wonderful, the room was also nice and clean.
The issue I was having was the parking no one told me that the room key was needed to get in and out of the garage. Nothing big but it would have been nice to have that information.
Excellent location for access to transportation and Alexandria. Welcoming/helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and spacious room.
Welcoming was warm. Also, I was allowed an early check in. Location to metro was an added bonus. Whole Foods and coffee shops were in close proximity. Public transportation was amazing, and convenient. The trolley gave a friendly recording, about the history of old town. We lioved the cute shops Definitely enjoyed waking to a hot delicious breakfast. Each evening we wrapped up our day with conversation over complimentary happy hour! Thanks to the entire staff!
We had absolutely no concerns or suggestions to improve. Management is doing a great job.
Delicious hot breakfast with a great selection.
We had to wait in line to get our complimentary wine.
