The staff are warm and friendly, I would say exceptional in every way!!
They cannot do enough for you.❤️
The hotel itself is stunning too!!
Truly THE nicest place I have ever stayed
I will miss the professionalism and welcoming smiles from all the staff ❤️
Oh my God, from the moment we arrived… we were greeted by the best smile by the concierge in his cream tails. Best smile. Julia, spelled with a G, greeted us at reception with, again, the best smile. We were in awe as we walked through the door… looking at the polished marble floor, the beautiful chandeliers, the amazing staircase. I can’t tell you how amazing the staircase is… it was a beautiful red carpet… we didn’t know which way to look first.
Then we were taken to our rooms, which again… oh my gosh… we were looking, we were touching the paintwork, looking at everything. It’s been done beautifully… just recently renovated a couple of years ago. The bed was so comfortable… down to the beautiful sheets that you sleep in. And the bathroom and the shower… oh my God, the shower… gorgeous.
Going down to breakfast in the morning… you’re greeted again by more smiles. The customer service is exceptional… individual personalities but all there for you… every step of the way. The restaurant… beautiful food… gorgeous. Nothing’s a problem… they look after you. You don’t even want to leave… you forget you’re here to go and look around for work because we’re here working… but they really did look after us. We’re just in awe of the place… I think we want to move in. Everything about it is just lovely.
The bar on the sixth floor is gorgeous… the staff, the uniforms, the smiles, the ambience, the greets… even down to just the feeling of the place… you feel at home very, very quickly. Definitely a place you should stay and come have a look at. Even if you don’t stay, definitely go to the cocktail bar on the top floor… just great. I can’t rate it enough… 10 out of 10 doesn’t seem enough.
We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.
The location is excellent – perfectly situated to explore the city, with many major attractions within easy reach. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and the rooms feel relatively new and modern. Everything was clean, comfortable, and stylishly designed.
What truly stood out during our stay was the outstanding concierge service. A special thank you to Simone, who gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities. Every suggestion was spot on and made our trip even more special. He is an incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful person – a real asset to the hotel.
The only area that could be improved is the breakfast service. Unfortunately, our orders were incorrect several times, and the drinks took quite a long time to arrive. This is definitely something that could be optimized to match the otherwise high standard of the hotel.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly return.
I recently stayed at InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace and overall I had a very positive experience. The location is one of its strongest points, right on Via Veneto, with major sights within walking distance while still feeling elegant and not overly chaotic. The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels refined and well curated, with a nice balance between historic character and modern design. The common areas are calm and structured, and the breakfast setting in particular felt bright and organized.
The room was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable, the materials felt high quality, and the layout was practical without being excessive. Cleanliness was impeccable everywhere, from the room to the shared spaces, which reflects strong attention to detail. Despite being in such a central area, noise was not an issue at all, and the room was quiet enough to rest properly.
Breakfast was excellent, the service was well organized, and Eliana was especially kind and attentive. There was a slight sense of nervousness from one manager, but it did not impact the overall experience. Considering the location, the overall standard, and the service, I find the value justified for Rome at this level. Definitely worth a visit.
Every waiter was very gentle and polite.
The breakfast was so good and well served.
Lovely, characterful building. The highlight was the truly excellent staff and service - they have very obviously been trained to give immaculate service from check-in to departure. The room was good - as expected for this price point. Minor niggle - the shower pan did not drain effectively and the smallish bathroom essentially flooded every time we had a shower. A small problem though - overall faultless.
i thoungh this just normal hotel but unexpectedly this is the best hotel thanks
Interesting experience, to try at least once, delicious food, spectacular buffet, but even more so the staff, especially Mado, Pamela and Gianmarco. Rating 10/10
I had a great time here, with the environment clean and tidy, the staff kind and helpful. In particular Shout out for Mado, Pamela Nikita and Gianmarco
We visited the hotel during daytime for an event and experienced a truly impressive welcoming.
We spent some time at Rita’s bar at the groundfloor where Manuel made us feel at home showing us authentic hospitality and making us dream.
If you are in Via Veneto, do pass by, even just to enjoy a drink. Ambasciatori is a place where intercontinental dimensions might turn into a small world and small worlds expand beyond borders.
Looking forward to be back, hopefully next month.
Lovely staff including check-in, concierge, door-men, restaurant servers and maid-service; they really cared about looking after us. Was upgraded to a one bedroom suite and it was gorgeous. Public areas equally gorgeous. Maid service was fast and the room was always kept very clean. Room was extremely quiet despite facing the street. Food for breakfast and at VICI was outstanding. Only niggling issues were sink started draining very slowly and shower water tended to leak outside of shower door a bit. Otherwise a perfect stay, I would be happy to return.
This is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff we encountered were very polite and efficient.
Check in (Sara - I think) was a pleasure with everything perfectly explained.
Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and gave good night sleeps. The bathroom was fully equiped with toiletries and a fantastic walk in shower.
Breakfast was very good with ample hot and cold choices. Again the servers were excellent. Through our stay we sampled Charlie's Bar on the roof, an afternoon coffee and an evening meal in Viva - all were of a high quality both in service and product.
This hotel is fairly central with many sites walkable or a short public transport ride away.
If and when we visit Rome again this will be our base.
Wonderful hotel and extremely welcoming. Our room was beautiful and immaculate, the food delicious! It was perfectly placed to enjoy the peace (rooms were very quiet) and offered tranquility if that is what you wish for, however the hotel is positioned well for walking to most of the sights and amenities. The employees were the loveliest of people. We hope to be back again.
Fantastic!!! Best buffet and service in Italy!

פשוט הכל היה מושלם!
The InterContinental Ambasciatori Palace is a breath of fresh air in Rome’s luxury scene. It manages to feel high-end and sophisticated without the "museum-like" stuffiness often found in the city’s older hotels.
Design and Location
The modern, simplistic design of the rooms and public spaces is very well-executed. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for much more: it’s close to the city center, right near the Villa Borghese for a quiet walk, and accessible to the subway. The bar and rooftop areas are beautifully designed, though the rooftop is clearly a local favorite and was too crowded for me to find a seat during my visit.
The Wellness Gap
As a traveler who prioritizes wellness facilities, I was disappointed to find that the hotel does not have a spa. Given the elegance of the property and its 5-star positioning, a spa would have made this a perfect stay. Without it, it feels more like a high-end "business luxury" property than a full-scale resort.
Service and Accountability
The service was a highlight—consistently friendly and proactive compared to other European hotels. Interestingly, at checkout, the hotel asked if I’d like to leave a general tip for the staff. It’s a transparent way to handle gratuities, and I appreciated the honesty. I’m happy to reward great service, though as someone who appreciates the effortless "omotenashi" of Japan, I hope the team’s high motivation remains independent of the tipping prompt.
Verdict
A solid, stylish choice for Rome. It is clean, safe, and excellently located. If you can live without a spa, it is one of the best modern options in the city.
Stunning hotel with the most Lovely and professional staff. Absolutely amazing food, a credit to the chefs. A wonderful stay!
