The staff were absolutely wonderful. So nice and accommodating. Paid attention to the little details and very attentive. Little touches like the coffee and pastries in the morning or water bottle when you depart leave a nice feeling. Be sure to keep those features.
Poor wifi, rooms were very stuffy and uncomfortably warm with no way to cool them

La chambre avec terrasse était très confortable et d’un charme fou .
Le luxe d’une tranquillité absolue a 5 mn d’une foule grouillante .
Le manque de personnel .
Les personnes présentes sont très attentionnées et professionnelles mais on les sent un peu débordées .
Attendre 30 mn une tasse de thé n’est pas digne d’un 5 étoiles . Ni attendre une capsule de café qui n’est jamais venue .

Our favorite hotel in the world. I am not exaggerating. We gave traveled around the world and this hotel is US! Beautiful setting, lovely and accommodating staff and delicious food. Le meillure! 💕
TGV駅からホテルまでタクシーの手配をお願いしていたら 改札口で運転手の方に出迎えてもらい 車は大きいベンツのバンだったのでトランクが収まって 座席は広々として有難かった。部屋は布製の壁紙が可愛くて バスタブ付きのお部屋でベッドの寝心地もとても良かった。朝食が充実していて美味しく、シャンパンがあって朝から嬉しかった。朝食レストランの内装が綺麗だったが 覗いただけだが他のレストランやバーの装飾も素敵なクラシカルな雰囲気だった。教皇庁のすぐ近くで観光に便利だった。
バスタブと洗面の水はけが悪かったのが少し気になった。
La Mirande is in an excellent position, rooms and staff are nice however, the hotel is a little tired...

If you’ve ever toured a French castle and seen those ropes off rooms with the hidden doors and antique furniture, picture this being the image where you can remove the rope and move in for a night or two.
It was really like sleeping in a palace with the hidden doors, chinoiseries in the wall paper, and époque furniture.
Everything is antique but well maintained and high quality, it is all part of the charm
Do partake in a meal at the restaurant or bistro. It was fabulous (taste, presentation, and service)

And they even had a resident cat (Miranda of course!)
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at La Mirande which is perfectly located in the old town right next to the majestic Pope’s Palace. Most sightseeing sights are within walking distance. The hotel is super cosy and comfortable. It has excellent bar and restaurants. I recommend a room with a terrace.

Poor food options - very low water pressure - uncomfortable beds
Loved the interiors and the location, it feels you’re visiting a grande Maison, very personalised and decorated with style. Unassuming glamour without being stuffy.
The wear and tear is starting to show. Could have ad a few more personalised touches for an enhanced experience.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—very vintage and artistic, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance throughout the room.
It is located directly opposite the Papal Palace. We booked a stay with breakfast included; the breakfast room is stunning, and the selection is generous and delicious.
All the staff were extremely polite and warm, and whenever I had any questions, they helped me right away.

Personale gentilissimo sia alla reception che in sala colazioni e al bistro; colazione molto ricca e gradevole; ambienti curati; pulizia; posizione ottimale per visitare la piazza principale essendo proprio a fianco del palazzo dei Papi; ottimi prodotti bagno di Guerlain. Macchinetta del caffè con cialde in camera. Ottimo cibo al bistro; peccato che il ristorante (stellato) fosse chiuso - da gennaio a marzo.
Nessuna indicazione su come arrivare (ci sono due barriere elettroniche per la ZTL e bisogna suonare il campanello di fronte ad ognuna), lo shop ha prezzi fantascientifici (un pupazzo a forma di maiale 205€), uno dei due lavandini non scaricava l’acqua.
