Everything was ok.
For a last second turn off the ramp to rest my body and eyes, I really should have known better. Three of the four area hotels were booked so I said why not? Pulled up to the lot and there were some truckers outside next to what seemed like a dive bar, no big deal. We all need a load off. I told the front desk guy that it had been a long trip and I couldn’t wait to shower and rest up. Got into the room and something just felt “off” and just as I put my bags down I see something on the middle pillow, a bug. I automatically turn to my partner and ask what he sees. Goes on to tell me it’s a beetle. Flicks it away. Okay, I try to calm my nerves and think it’s just that. Lay down and fall asleep. Woke up to crawlers on my face and find bedbugs under me and my head pillow now. Almost start crying. I attempted to shower and no working shower head. Just droplets coming out. I was so furious. Went to the front desk who happened to be the guy that greeted me the night before. I asked him the refund policy and he states all he can offer me was a “free night” or a new room to shower. Best believe I took the shower option. Imagine waking up to tick-like bugs all under you. I HAD to shower. Go figure, the other room was cleaner and had a working shower. Like, why couldn’t that have been our room to begin with? I’m just disappointed in myself for not reviewing others feedback before booking. My feedback, just drive a few more miles down and there’s plenty other lodging options than this.
Check in went well. Girl at desk was very nice and informative. Getting to the room safely was well yet to be desired. showed up just in time to see a foot chase between people that were living there and people that weren’t living there because they were breaking into places and one guy was knocking on doors asking people for drugs the girl at the front desk took care of a lot of it she was very bold about what people were not going to do around there it was quite impressive. but my friend was scared to death and trying to calm her down was not fun. getting to the room it’s disgusting towels are brown and yellow stained on them there was blood on the sheets looked fresh. it also looked like someone had been on both beds. And it look like a dried up ear behind the TV. And TV did not work there was no signal. well I had to bring my reclining chair in so my friend can lay down because we didn’t want to be on the bed the door looked like it had been kicked in a few times there was only one thing to secure it it was not safe I wasn’t concerned for my safety because I carry a weapon. And I’ve been in worst places just choose not to do that in my older years this place really needs overhaul. Only stayed 2 1/2 hours. And was not able to get a refund even though I paid for insurance on the room. The hotel and hotel.com charged me. Not happy at all! And Do not recommend!
This motel doesn't even deserve a one star. Wife & I decided to travel to Ozarks to see a concert at the spare of the moment. To be expected, it was difficult to find a hotel/motel with vacancy three days in advance. Budget Host Inn had vacancy but we now know why. It was that of a classic comedy movie. I have ever experienced in reality of a horrific motel. Let's start with check-in office; a very ran down area with a slight stench. Outside parameter/visual pulling around to our room; horrific, old trashy looking vehicles in the lot and exterior condition of building was not good in appearance. And now for the room. A dirty full exterior wall of plexiglass that was unproperly sealed. We walked in and was immediately slammed in the face with a horrific stench complete with a few flies flying about the room landing on the beds & walls. The entry door didn't properly close leaving gaps both vertically and at bottom threshold. The bedding, (comforter) was stained with soil. Wife & I turned right around and abandoned that hotel and just drove home that night.
Hotel is run down. Still has days inn signs everywhere but its not a days inn. I checked the beds as i always do where i stay and one bed the sheets had stains on them and the other bed there was i believe to be dead bed bugs under the mattress protector on the mattress.
Super friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice little breakfast to get you on your way! Nearby fast food and liquor stores and food shopping.A little close to highway but still very quiet, You will like it !
The hotel is total gross. The our roomed smelled horrible, was dirty and had partially torn up carpet. The outside was in dis-repair and very poorly lit. It seemed very unsafe. We went 300 yard down the road to the Hampton Inn. Way more expensive but safe and clean. Sleep in your car but dont stay here.
Filthy floors. Sheets not changed. Holes in the walls. No hot water in the morning. Hot breakfast was bland, pancakes burnt, eggs and hashbrowns were sitting in water. Spend $10 more for something better. Not worth it.
Reservations were wrong. Our door was broken. We were given a room with COCKROACHES in it. We saw 2 roaches within minutes of arrival. We didn’t stay. There was also a problem with refunding our money. Literally cockroaches in our room.
I stayed at this hotel when passing through on bissness to see family and iam shocked at what i had to go threw and deal with frist of the frint desk G.M was verey unprefesional talking baf about her employees and just rude foreal the rooms where nit bad for the price the breakfast area on the outher hand was outrageous for one there was no one there or in the back so i happend to take pics of what i saw i hope this helps somebody deal with this iam disgusted and i would like to thank the housekeeper i had to deal with ms,walker she went above and beyond to help fix any situation that came up i xalled but was told by front desk she was fired for no reason.i run a bussiness ans good employees are hard to find i would love for her to work for me anytime
Stayed there overnight. Checkin was fast and friendly. The room was nice / clean, nothing too special. The breakfast was pretty good - scrambled eggs, pancakes, and some pastries. The overall property appearance was a little run down, but the inside was nice.
Friendly staff and great room, very clean and quiet.Great breakfast and clean modern common areas, good parking choices and nearby food options. Definitely would recommend it to friends and family. Thanks !
Worst hotel in 15 years of business travel! Check-in staff lived at the location and was in their pajamas. Loud bar could be heard from the room. Grounds were trashed and gross. Rooms were AWFUL! Filthy, unvacuumed floors with things littered all over the room. Beds filthy, unwashed and missing sheets. Holes in the wall that were once covered by artwork that is now missing. All that remains is the hole and two hooks. Walls/door were brown with scratches and filth. Bathroom was disgusting. Toilet and shower hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Flies and bugs in the bathroom/sink. Two bars of soap but nothing else. WiFi never worked and prevented us from doing critical business. Just AWFUL TERRIBLE GROSS!
I’m a Wyndham frequenter and enjoy the La Quinta brand. This last trip did not have LQ’s at all my stops so I was forced to try several Super 8’s and was shocked and surprised how misrepresented they were. They are now one of my preferred low cost hotels with that upscale look. You definitely need to try a Super 8 out.
Well this stop the only other Wyndham has a Days Inn at half the cost of the Super 8. Because both are 2-star hotels I thought I’d give the Days Inn a chance to see if they were as upscale to meet the Wyndham
caliber. Big mistake!!!!
I was traveling with a Yorkie so I needed a clean non-smoking room. Well the room doesn’t smell that bad. The bath towels looked clean but the washcloth and hand towel, although washed I’m sure, had stains I don’t want to imagine what they had been used for.
The carpet could use a vacuum over it, and other than that it the room appeared to be like the road side motels you see from the olden days. The furniture, bed spread, and decor too. I really was apprehensive leaving my rental car in the back parking lot closest to room access.
There is a large grassy yard for the dogs but there are broken whiskey and beer bottles in there unfortunately so I have to be careful where to let her step.
I’ve attached a photo of the only laundry room with ice machine. Words cannot... well, just can’t describe my thoughts.
I know I will not sleep peacefully tonight. If you decide to consider this Days Inn, and remember each one is owned independently, I caution you to at least look at the property and request to look at the room before committing to your stay here.
Good luck and safe travels.
The staff was great, however the roaches that appeared in the room during the night and when we went to use the microwave where not, we just got out of there, we will not be staying there again. They need to take care of bug issue
This place is great and so is the staff. I would recommend it to anyone. They allow pets and it's a relief because of our service animal because of my best friend. Clean and close to places. The staff is so polite and courteous.
Would not stay here again if my life depended on it. Was a very dirty hotel. The rooms were not clean, carpet was gross. My reservation was given to someone else. If I wasn’t so tired I would have went and found somewhere else to stay.
this place was beyond nasty. our room was not clean. it had a funky smell when we walked in, no big deal. but the trash was not changed, towels were on the counter and looked to have been used, the tub faucet was still dripping of water with a wad of hair in the drain, black long hairs on the bathroom floor, AND i literally stepped on a bug on my bare feet. went back to the front desk and the lady was understanding so changed us to a new room. that room was not much better. looked cleaner but the bathtub faucet would NOT turn off and their were bugs in the tub. went back to the front desk and when we notified the lady working she asked “what kind of bugs?” i’m sorry but what does it matter what kind?! the fact that there are bugs should be concerning enough. did not end up staying and just went on with our trip but would not recommend this place to anybody. so gross.
Clean rooms , very nice staff , good maid service ! This is the best place in Lebanon to stay , very reasonable rates !Very close to all eating eastablishments and stores !There on business , will definitely be back and ask for the same room I had .
I stayed here as a last minute decision to get rest. The room badly needed vacuuming. The carpet was new but the finishing work was not completed, so carpet was drooping away from the walls. The grout in the shower was growing a nice crop of black mold.
