This is a 1 Star Hotel at best
The bed was old and the springs were broken.
Breakfast was pathetic, cold hard boiled eggs and sweet muffins is not a continental breakfast , not even any toast.
Special mention to Rahn (sp?) the lady who checked us in. She was as helpful as she could be.
Terrible mention for the breakfast lady, Kerry, who was rude and officious. When she explained we had to eat cereal out of a cup because there were no bowls, she followed up in a nasty and condescending way to see the front desk!
“To request bowls” I asked. “No! To complain” she replied.
Dark, dingy, very uncomfortable bed. But most of all the rude breakfast staff member, Kerry
Nothing
Power was out most of my stay, ants in my bathroom, poor breakfast variety
The location is great, 5 minutes walk into town & very accessible. Free parking on site
After a long journey, there was no hot water for a shower which was really disappointing. I was told it was due to a power cut. I don’t know if this is a regular occurrence or a one off, but it knocked a star off our review.
The next morning the shower was lovely & hot with great pressure.
Breakfast was basic (muffins, coffee, boiled eggs, porridge sachets) but very welcome & better than anticipated for the price of the stay.
Location- between downtown & the ferry to Vancouver, some new furniture, large bed, nice towels.
No kettle, only paper cups, not ceramic, insects in washroom, run down hotel, overpriced,, microwave but no cutlery, basic breakfast, hotel needs to de-ice the freezer in room 381.
simplicity and friendly staff
Die Nähe zum Fährhafen ist ok
Sehr abgewohntes Hotel. Das Frühstück besteht aus Muffin und Kaffee. Nicht mal Toast und Creamcheese.
The breakfast was basic but adequate. The room was comfortable and clean. The location of this Travelodge suited me very well. Although the stay was only one night, I plan to return.
As indicated, the breakfast was very basic. The addition of bread, butter and jam, and availability of a toaster would be appreciated.
The kitchen
Very attentive Staff, good size/furnished room, more quiet for its location as anticipated
Wasn't taken by the Continental Breakfast - way too sweet for my taste. It offered various muffins but no bread at all, cerial had to be poured into an 8oz coffee cup, boild egges came fresh from the fridge, fruites had to be cut with a wooden knife.
The staff and breakfast
The room was very hot. There were ants in the bathroom--a worrisome amount. There was no way to make the room cooler besides opening the balcony door which has no screen. I think that is why there are ants. Guests are keeping the door open. The room is just SO hot.
Nice area but the a/c doesn’t work well so the room was fairly hot and I still haven’t got my damage deposit back yet.
Just the fact the A/C didn’t work well and the room was really warm
