We did not stay there.
Cons:

I booked a reservation, indicating that we had a dog and it went through.
A day later I received a note cancelling my reservation telling me that they did not take pets.
Take the option off the reservation page then as I had to scramble to find another place...

Good for the value, breakfast could be better.

Shower head was at my shoulder height, no gym or pool, breakfast was only hard boiled egg, muffin and yogurt.

Great location, great room.
Pros:

The room was very nice with cleanliness, size of room, beds were comfy, lots of pillows to choose from and a comfy chair. There was 24 hour coffee in the lobby. The breakfast had a variety of muffins, fruit, yogurt, eggs and other items. The room was quiet as well.

Cons:

Not much. The coffee was ground coffee in filtered pods. I made a full pot but the coffee was extremely weak. I would suggest to make half a pot or add two coffee pods. Better yet, use the coffee in the lobby or breakfast area.

Great, we are definitively coming back to this hotel!
Pros:

The staff were friendly all the time, ready to help. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights and the room was always clean, even better than what we expected. We will definitively come back to this hotel if we go again to Nanaimo. Great location too! We were able to walk to downtown and spend the afternoon there; it was a great time!

Cons:

Actually, everything was great. Exceeded our expectations.

It was nice. Affordable. But still I was awoken , as were my kids in the morning by staff argument
Pros:

Some of the staff were very friendly. Front desk, breakfast girl. But I woke up to one of the cleaners speaking very loudly right outside my room. She was in an argument with other cleaners. The other cleaners were trying to calm her down.

Location to ferry terminals. Lovely front desk and breakfast staff. Decent breakfast choices. Comfy bed. Quiet area. Balcony facing quiet back area. Toiletries provided. Accommodating to special request. Coffe/tea area open late. Nice size tv. Newer furniture. Fridge and microwave. Good safe parking.

Cons:

Room smelled of smoke and musty aroma unfortunately. Shower/plumbing in next room very noisy when running. You can hear faint talking from people in next room too.
