The room was spacious enough and comfy; the shower was particularly good. The staff were all very friendly as well.
The only big frustration was that they had an event on Saturday night and we could hear the music playing until 2am. This was surprising since we were on the top floor. Obviously I have no problem with the hotel holding events, but I expected better sound insulation from a hotel of this quality.

All staff were very warm & accommodating to all our requests, resulting in a fantastic stay.
Property very central, staff lovely but bed uncomfortable and pillows much too soft. I didn’t get much sleep, which is a shame as the hotel seemed great and the breakfast was lovely

The building is very interesting and in a decent location if some distance from the main universities.
Smallish room with two stains on the main carpet arrear.
Breakfast nothing special and spoilt by too many loud Americans.
The breakfast, the room was small.
When we arrive, our toliet in our room didn't work. But without a couple of hours, this was fixed.

TV in the room we booked did not work therefore moved rooms to a lower standard room. Was told 10% would be deducted from bill. We asked if this would be 10% off original room or lower grade room - no one knew. When we booked out they still did not know and said they would hav to wait until a manager came in and would let us know?
As above. When paying these rates I would expect a poor TV service. Travel lodge seem to have their TVs working?

Beautiful venue, ideally located a short walk from the venue. Bedrooms are gorgeous and so cosy. Lovely details.
