Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The shower was hot and good pressure.

Cons:

There was a shower over the bath which meant I had a big step into the bath for showering. The toilet paper was only single ply!

Comfortable accommodation in a central location
Pros:

The hotel's location is central and very convenient. The service is very good, with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast is enjoyable, freshly prepared and cooked. Our room was comfortable in size and in most of the amenities but with room for improvement - see below. :

Cons:

The bed was a bit too narrow for our comfort, we like better lighting in our room (this was quite dimly lit, with some dark corners), and it was not possible to turn the air condition off for the night.

Great Location, close to bus station.
Pros:

The room was comfy. It was relatively quiet and the staff were friendly

Cons:

I wish it could be on record that we've stayed many times and have a feather allergy ( no feather pillows) instead of having to make a special request every single time we stay here. No free bottles of water inr room.

Emergency!
Pros:

I liked everything!
I arrived, late at night, after a very long day of flight delays etcetera to discover that local transport was completely disrupted by the Central Station fire. I booked in because I was stuck. And very tired..
The Staff were soooo nice to me; particularly Stephanie at Reception and the bar- staff.
The kitchen was closed but I was offered food:)
The bed was, incredibly comfortable. The standard of Housekeeping, excellent.

Last night, Central Glasgow was chaotic. I ,definitely, landed lucky here.

Cons:

I have no complaints at all.

Great value for money
Pros:

The staff were great. I was welcomed by Emmy who was very friendly and helpful. The staff during breakfast were great too. The location is perfect at the centre of Glasgow. Breakfast is buffet style with vegan sausages upon request plus plenty of other vegan friendly elements. The baked beans were particularly good. Great value for money as breakfast was only £10 and much better than others I've had elsewhere for more than that. The double room I stayed in was very comfortable with plenty of space, with desk/vanity space, kettle. Bathroom with shower and bathtub, and bath sheets (which I appreciate). Toiletries were Dove: shampoo, handsoap and body wash. The only thing that was missing would be conditioner and moisturizer. But, fantastic value for money!

Nice stay at Holiday Inn and great start of New Year in Glasgow
Pros:

Location is great, very nice and clean room, and hotel staff is very nice and friendly too! Also, breakfast was great.

Cons:

Car park doesn’t belong to the hotel and it’s not for free.
