8 days at the Langham for my special big birthday was fantastic! I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys luxury and close to all the sites.
An exceptional stay at The Langham, London. The property is immaculate, and our room was beautifully bright, airy, and flawlessly maintained. What truly sets this hotel apart is its world-class service. Every staff member we encountered was warm and professional, but the manager truly stood out—incredibly attentive, proactive, and highly responsive to every detail. It is rare to find hospitality this seamless and genuinely welcoming. A brilliant experience from start to finish.
Five star, perfect experience. Magnificent service. Loved every moment of staying here. The best!!!!
I booked a room for my mom, who traveled from the U.S. to visit me in London so we could celebrate her birthday together. The Langham was not only beautiful but also truly comfortable, with hospitable, proactive, and kind service provided by the staff at every turn. The combination of an early check-in and high-quality bedroom and amenities made my mother's time at the hotel nourishing and restorative, a delightful respite for her breaks amidst our adventures across London's shows, museums, parks, and restaurants, many of which were near the hotel. I am grateful we found the Langham and look forward to next time!
Avoid the lower level floors of the wing above the Tube. Was given a room that shook every few minutes when trains passed by. I should have checked this before, as apparently it is a known problem. This room should not be sold to guests.
I had booked a boutique hotel in Marylebone but was keeping my options open. I came across The Langham which was having a 3 nights for the price of two promotion, and it seemed to be clearly the superior choice. This definitely proved the case when we arrived and found the hotel to be even more gorgeous in person than it appears in photographs. We had booked a deluxe room, and were personally shown to it by the front desk staffer. She told us it was the largest deluxe room and it was very spacious, really a junior suite with a separate sitting area that had a sofa, lounge chair and a table & chair. There were also a beverage station, changing area and closets, and a lovely big bathroom. We elected to go down for afternoon tea, which we thoroughly enjoyed and which was every bit as elegant as you would expect. We also enjoyed cocktails at Artisan and The Wigmore during our stay. When you read through reviews of the Langham, you come across the odd complaint, but I think the numbers tell the story: 4.7/5.0 with thousands of reviews. This hotel is really exceptional. Sure, there may be an occasional hiccup, but we certainly didn’t experience any. The staff were lovely and helpful, the bed was divinely comfy, all the amenities were top-notch. If you are comparing the Langham to other high-end hotels, what I think sets it apart is the type of luxury it delivers. Many expensive hotels have a certain coolness about them, even a corporate feel. This hotel is characterized by lush materials and custom made, one of a kind details. It has a sense of place, you know you are at the Langham London. The artwork is also carefully curated and adds to the experience. We would love to stay here again.
This was our 3rd time at The Langham London in the past 12 months. It’s become our favorite hotel for a combination of reasons (design, location, and most importantly the staff). Can’t wait to get back.
Had a wonderful afternoon with a delicious and generous afternoon tea. Worth every penny. Will definitely go back.
Comfortable and lovely! Excellent location, cordial and friendly service, generous space in the suite.
However, the international staff were hard to understand when they were speaking English, which added to the stress of travel. Otherwise, I would give the hotel an overall rating of 5.
We recently stayed at The Langham in London and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Every single member of staff was kind, thoughtful, and accommodating, from the doormen and porters who handled our luggage and hailed our taxis, to the bartenders and servers, the reception team, housekeeping, and everyone in the Club Lounge.
A few touches made our stay especially memorable. The team surprised us with champagne and a cake in our room to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a lovely gesture. On our second day, they kindly moved all of our luggage and belongings to a different room when an upgrade became available. While the room we originally booked was very nice, the junior suite we moved to was even better and came with a gorgeous view of the city.
We also enjoyed relaxing at the Artesian bar in the evenings. The staff were warm and welcoming, made excellent drink recommendations, and even treated us to an unexpected nightcap on our final evening. Breakfast from room service was incredible too, with the best pastries we’ve ever had. At checkout, a kind reminder to make sure we had our passports before heading to the airport was a nice final touch, the sort of attentive detail that summed up the entire stay.
We didn’t make it to the spa or any of the restaurants on this trip, but they’re at the top of our list for next time. We can’t wait to stay at The Langham again on our next visit to London. Highly recommended!
Good close to excellent , not quite there ! but very enjoyable , I would definitely stay again
Bar is excellent , but que for breakfast is intolerable in 5 star , 15 minute wait !
Staff were all very polite helpful and friendly
Check in 30 minutes took too much on Amex no familiarization on room hotel
No one taking responsibility
Un emplacement idéal et un personnel pro et très sympathique.
The room itself was excellent. Spacious, clean and everything one needed and expected from a hotel of this standard.
The aircon unit was fiddly to operate and we were unable to cool down the room during the night which is the only reason I am not rating it 10/10
My husband arranged for us to stay for 3 nights at this superb hotel for my birthday (a significant one!). It was all a complete surprise for me and it was absolutely perfect! Our room was beautiful with the added birthday balloons and delicious chocolates. We were made to feel so welcome by every member of your wonderful staff. I cannot express how my stay there was so special. The Langham is such an elegant hotel where one feels so comfortable. I might become one of those ladies who takes up permanent residency!
Our stay was wonderful as always but tainted by a bad experience yet again with breakfast.
The service took an extreme amount of time to come to us and took 3 x attempts to get it right for a very simple order.
Our friends under the same reservation as ours took breakfast in Palm Court and waited an extremely long time to be seated served and receive their food.
Overall not good and not the first time both types of experiences have happened to us.
Problem was resolved with care from the management and front desk and the lady who served to our room but a taint you don’t need when your only visiting for one night for an event in London.
We are regular visitors of the Langham (not as much of late) and always choose the Langham
Love the hotel love the staff always enjoy the hotel just a shame the breakfast lets it down.
The rating of the service is only to reflect the breakfast
The service was incredible, such lovely staff the tour was great. I had the most amaizng time.
In a world where inflation and profiteering gnaw away the edges of quality and service, The Langham delivers at every level of your experience. It’s one of the rare places in life where you can rest assured that you are getting what you pay for.
The most beautiful hotel I’ve been able to stay for one night
My birthday present from my amazing son
The hotel was out of this world
The staff were truly amazing
The concierge was super friendly and welcoming. He will organise anything for anyone, ie restaurants, events, theatre, etc
He is a great asset to the hotel

I can’t thank everyone who worked there for the most amazing time
Kind regards BUDDY
