The location was great. The room was large.

We had a really great experience here... Downtown Portland has amazing restaurants and lovely shops (we felt very safe, do not let the national news fool you!)...The hotel is perfectly located near all things Portland. The room was lovely (and wonderfully pet friendly!) and the Valet Service lead by KC & Carter was top notch!

Room was great size for us and a dog, bed was comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. Valet was quick, KC Carter were helpful

This was my 4th staycation in the last 3 months, I would like to thank the staff at the front desk for their hospitality especially Cody who checked us in and out. The two ladies at Il Solito were professional and friendly in the early hours for breakfast. One thing I noticed is the freshness of coffee in the lobby which I have an issue with many other hotels during my road trips across the USA, great selection of top brand tea. Todays afternoon Hot Apple Cider was superb, don't miss the Nightly Social Hour in the lobby. I had the corner room which I do recommend. We enjoyed our stay.

Bradley and Jono were the best bartenders I could have asked for at a property like this. Would come back just to holla at them.

Staff were great! David, Gabby, Theresa and Ben were professional kind and courteous! Misaki was so helpful and kind and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was fabulous. Thanks to the outstanding team you have!

RJ and Joni were phenomenal! Helped us enjoy our dear friend’s bachelor party to the fullest 🙌 Kept the space cozy, well lit, and well stocked!

I booked this property based on my credit card which offered excellent incentives for Edit properties, I'm ever so glad I took advantage of this opportunity. The Kimpton was wonderful and had a warm cozy feel. From the cleanliness and comfort of our room to the wonderful staff and social hour in the lobby we felt right at home. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts at the restaurant and great drinks at the bar meeting many friendly people throughout our stay. We will definitely return whenever we come to town. Highly recommend

Our experience was a great one. We stayed overnight for a business trip and had the best experience at Bacchus Bar. Excellent service from Jono and RJ! Very pleasant and friendly, their knowledge of wines is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had. Everything here is extremely slow — every request, every service, every interaction. The staff constantly seemed overwhelmed and uninterested, and there were never enough people working to handle guests properly.

The valet was a mess: no available spots, not even onsite, and we were left waiting with no guidance. Even breakfast was a disaster. There were plenty of empty tables, yet we still had to wait around 10 minutes just for them to “set up,” which made no sense. It felt like the staff simply didn’t care about the guest experience at all.

For the price and expectations, this hotel failed on every level. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

We always have such a wonderful stay at the kimpton hotel vintage in Portland. It's close to everything we love to do there while being beautiful, fun and very welcoming. KC the valet took great care of our car as always, so we did not have any worries! We'll be back.

Stayed for 8 nights while visiting family in Portland. A special acknowledgement of Bradley at the Bacchus bar and our many evening conversations along with RJ and Jono. Additional positives included free morning coffee and happy hour wines, solid meals at Il Solito, and the Thursday night trivia contest with prizes. I did have issues with the valet parking so ended up self-parking across the street for half the price. I also was a bit disconnected when it came to having my room serviced but not a terrible inconvenience. I appreciated a call from the hotel mid-stay soliciting my level of satisfaction. Lastly, the hotel’s location was fine as it was within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.

I’ve always been a fan of Kimpton hotels and this one was one of my favorites. Especially with my 8 year-old in tow, it was a perfect getaway for my whole family. My husband and I enjoyed the vibe, hospitality and the spacious room, while my son was in heaven in the game room. Would definitely come back!

Bacchus Bar is great! Very friendly and creative bartenders Jono and Bradley made me feel at home, and the drinks were interesting, well-crafted, and tasty. Good also is very good. This is one of the rare bars that is at a hotel that I would go to even if I weren’t staying at the hotel.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and we were greeted with free water from Tristan Misaki. Our business trip stay included free breakfast at their brunch restaurant, I’ll Solito, which was wonderful! There was also a happy hour from 5-6pm with complimentary wine!

Back again for my usual stay when I’m in Portland for business or to see friends and this hotel never disappoints. It’s a highlight every time especially with the in-house restaurant and my fav bar that opens for their social hour and the best & coolest bartender, bar back duo each night with Bradley & Jono. Great convo and outstanding old fashioned every single time. As an IHG Diamond Elite member that stays in hotels all the time, this place with all the amenities are in my top 5 list. Come by and check it out and say hi to my friends at the bar - you won’t be disappointed.
