Damm near killed myself slipping on the slick wet tile in the bathroom exiting the tub. Very poor and dangerous design. Injured.myself and could have been killed. Definately going to doctor. Tub and floor in dire need of adhesive surfices

All staff members went above and beyond in terms of support over our family’s five day stay - even while attending to less predictable needs. Nik was particularly helpful and generous with his time. We’ll be back!

This may have been my favorite visit to a Kimpton ever. Outside of just the great location, centrally location to nearly everything we wanted to do, we rarely felt pressure to even leave the hotel because the service was so fantastic.

Ely, the GM, checked us in and set the tone for the entire visit. It was easy to see by just the way she interacted with her team and the other guests how the experience was going to go. Nik with the Front Desk was always a great conversation and a huge help. Then Bradley and Jono with the bar/restaurant always kept us entertained and taken care of.

All in all, really wonderful trip and stay here. Will absolutely be my go to when we come back.

The only thing was that you could tell it was older. Paint was peeling from some areas of the walls and the furniture was old. Otherwise amazing.

Jono and Bradley give you such a personalized bar experience. They make you feel right at home and make an incredible paper plane!

I loved hanging out with Jono and Bradley!! They were so sweet and fun to meet while I was staying in a brand new city.

GREAT hotel with phenomenally helpful staff. From making suitable shopping suggestions for my daughter, to fixing my mistakes with discounts, everyone was so helpful. Room was big, beds comfy, curtains worked! The food in their restaurant (Il Sostro) was superb. Had great breakfasts and wonderful dinners. Games room (pool table, shuffleboard, giant Connect 4) was also perfect for after breakfast and after dinner activities. Delighted I chose this hotel.

Had a great time exploring Portland & this hotel was a big part of it (very centrally located)! Shout out to Nik at the front desk for his hospitality & genuine attitude in helping us & others! We tried both restaurants on the premise and the food is fantastic. Bradley at the bar was a fount of knowledge & made great drinks as he engaged with the patrons. We would recommend this hotel & will def be back!

We stayed here on the 16th of March and from the very beginning I couldn't believe how exemplary everything was. From check in (shout out to Cody!) and valet parking (shout out to Nik) Things just got better and better. We've stayed in quite a few hotels and this one stood out for how truly stellar in every way it was. We were traveling with our cat and had forgotten a bowl. Guest services brought a spare up. Couldn't figure out the bath. Again, guest services to the rescue again! (Thanks, Enrique!) Take out for dinner bc we were completely knackered. The food was really good! Courtesy of the Bacchus bar menu. Breakfast @ El Solito was a pleasant surprise. Delicious, wonderfully prepared food. Our server, Sam was super helpful and friendly! (Shout out to her cat - Oswald!) This hotel could go toe to toe with any five star hotel, and then some! If you have the opportunity, avail yourself of their vibe, bc it is the absolute best! They know how to treat you right.

This place was Amazing and made things super easy for us. Big shout out to Ryan the front desk manager. He helped with everything we needed like late checkout and set up a birthday surprise for one of our guest staying. Couldn't recommend this place enough, the vibes are amazing and room was great. Definitely staying here again!

We visited bacchus bar during the PM Sandwich Week. Elegant but relaxed vibe. Jono and Bartender Bradley were exceptionally friendly and respectful. We ordered the SW special, which was a delicious, savory and complex Southern Katsu and our cocktails were excellent pairings and well-executed. Will definitely return!

I had such a great experience and wanted to specifically recognize Jono and Bradley for making it memorable.

Jono and Bradley were both incredibly personable and welcoming — the kind of team that makes you feel instantly at ease. Bradley made me a fantastic French 75 (perfectly balanced and refreshing), and I had such a great conversation with Jono that it honestly elevated the entire evening.

During the complimentary wine hour (5–6pm), Ryan was also wonderful to talk to. I learned a lot about the current state of Portland and really appreciated his thoughtful perspective and local insight. It felt less like a hotel wine hour and more like an engaging conversation with someone who genuinely cares about the city.

Experiences like this are what make a stay stand out. Thank you to Jono, Bradley, and Ryan for the hospitality — I’ll absolutely be back.
