Worst experience at a hotel. All employees here are Indian or Middle Easterners who seem to dislike black folks. The are bedbugs and cockroaches everywhere at this location where they house homeless families who in turn transfer the bedbugs and cockroaches to all the nearby businesses and offices as well as to your car and wherever you place your luggage or belongings. The beds and mattresses are filthy and when you inspect around the bedding, you’ll find plenty of the bloodsuckers, especially around the head of the beds and even in the pillowcases. Nasty. I’ve worked for a pest control company and I can’t believe that businesses operate like this and yes the Days Inn is on the bedbug registry. The employees here are very quiet and secretive. Seems they have their complete family and friends working here and they are not transparent. I hear the new name will be Gateway Inn. It is a mess. So if these kind of businesses are the new beneficiaries of welfare from the local government, they should be shut down for this obviously bedbug and cockroaches infestation. Tent the building and have an appropriate fumigation. Just nasty and shows how much the government here cares for low income families. I’m disgusted and sleeping in my sleeping bag on top of their bedding. Be very aware.
evidentlybooking.com was not advised that days in has sold the business there so when I got there with my confirmation number from Booking Com. They said that it was not recognized from them anymore because they just bought the company a week before no phone number available. I believe the new company is called Gateway.
The property was sold to a new company Gateway. It is no longer days in when we got there. They said they bought the company a week before.
Price is right….beds comfortable sheets soft. Refrigerator filthy with mold on inside. Not replaced as promised by manager. Soundproofing between rooms horribly and could smell cigarette smoke from next room. No phone in room had to walk to office for complaints and questions. Will never stay here again breakfast was cold cereal or waffles 😒
Location was convenient for my activities and there is ample grounds around the motel to walk my dog.
FACILITY WOES: I was in room 106, one of the "good" rooms located on the inner side of the court near the pool. Firstly, the plumbing from the room above was leaking water (maybe toilet ?) down through the ceiling and dripping on the floor by my toilet. The ceiling has repairs where the problem has previously been addressed, but not fixed... THIS IS NOT SANITARY !
NO T.V.... The television is dependent on the WiFi system to download the programming, mostly pay channels. But, the motel's WiFi system is woefully inadequate to handle the programs and downloads. The desk staff tried to help with my T.V., but the WiFi system wasn't up to the task... NO TV OR WIFI FOR MY TWO NIGHTS STAY.
Children will be children when allowed to be. And, at late night the children, I think from long-term residents, were allowed to play in the court area around the pool without proper supervision- loud, noisy.
Continental breakfast ? NOT ! Even the coffee isn't !
And, on the West side of the building, a damaged mattress was just laying out in the growing grass; not a pretty sight.
The location is very convenient with easy access in and out of hotel.
The hotel changed hands and was sold to Gateway Inn between the time I booked my stay and stayed there (3 weeks). I had to pay again for the room without instructions about how to cancel standing reservation.
The room smelled like chemicals and had cockroaches in the sleeping area and bathroom.
Finally, it was very noisy with not much insolation between rooms.
Absolutely nothing!!!
I booked this room for 2am-3am and when I arrived I was told I couldn't check in until 3pm???? I was told I wouldn't be charged for the room. But yet there still trying to charge me anyway!!! I never even seen the room let alone stay in it!!!!! Absolutely terrible experience!!!
No bath soap, shampoo or conditioner in the room.
They switched rooms when asked due to lack of cleanliness
Everything except the mattress was adequate
Stay away. Went to a wedding in Easton and the church is right behind the hotel so we thought it was a good option. We were terribly incorrect. We should’ve known the price was a warning sign. We walked in and roaches were all over the place. Place is run down and a dump. See photos of our roach friends. We complained to the staff and they didn’t do anything and said we couldn’t get our money back. We did not stay the night and basically walked in and out
Comfortable and easily found
No bugs.
People living on property. No cameras for safety of parking lot. My niece's car window was broken overnight. No alarm clock. No rubber mat for tub.
Nothing.
The roaches, the flies, the darkened parking lot, the kids running around all hours of the night and the entire room just looked and felt dirty
It smelled really bad and there were bugs too and they bit me and my companion, they covered us all over. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I hope you can resolve this issue, thank you.
Bed bugs
My husband booked a room for 2 nights at the Days Inn by Wyndham Easton,MD for our 55th anniversary. We were there to go to the town of St. Michaels and Easton for a 2 night stay.
We got to the hotel in the evening and went to our room after passing by lots of homeless people and kids running all over the place (in the late evening). They were hanging by our car as we were trying to get our suitcases out and would not leave us alone
.I did not get a good feeling, but we went to our room. To find a SMOKE-filled room, not very clean with burn marks in the sheets and the blanket. Blood stains on the sheets. NO hairdryer ..NO lotions...NO shampoo ect. NO coffee maker..NO cups...NO kleenex ect. ect. As your web site states that they would all be there, so I did not pack any of that.
That room was DISQUESTING, and we should not have stayed the one night. We did not even feel safe walking back to the front desk to complain. People were banging on our door and the walls next door for quite some time. We actually put the one and only chair by the front door and neither one of us slept much at all. The noise and banging continued during the night.
WE got up early and went to the front desk to ask for a refund for the second night as we could not stay there any longer. The manager that we could hardly understand did give us a credit for the 2nd.night.
IF those rooms are NON SMOKING as advertised you really need to check into that We do not smoke and we were sick at our stomach with that smell. We will Never recommend your hotel to anyone.
Our confirmation number is : 82668EE022984
Dates: 10/3/25-10/5/25
Names: Linda and Don Jennings
1 King Bed NON SMOKING room
$180.00 plus tax of $18.00...Total $198.00
We did get a refund of $99.00 for the second night that we did not stay.
I am reaching out to see If we could get a refund for the one and only night that we were there . with fear and dirty ness all around. Even the hallway and the steps were so bad with trash and beer cans all over.
We have stayed at Days Inn before but this is the worse experience that we have ever had with a hotel room.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

It was in a considerable safe place. School on one side and police dept on the other. Nothing else felt safe. Not parking not the neighbors who were obviously living there. We tried ignoring the negatives to stay in a somewhat affordable place. Over the two nights we were there we delt with so many issues. Walked everywhere to find ice and the only machine didn’t work. It looked turned off. No machines had any food. The breakfast was a terrible joke with half of what they said it had. The “open” pool was gross and green and covered. I only go through this whole complaint because my second night there I came back after a wedding. Around 11:30-12:30.
Wanted to take a shower. Came back to hotel to find the room wasn’t ever turned over. All towels soaking wet in the bath. (Where I left them the day before because I thought putting all towels, small and large it would be easier for them to grab them all. So I go down to the lobby around 12 and asked for a towel and an explanation to why the room wasn’t seen. He told me you don’t get your room cleaned unless you ask the day before and I didn’t let him know. I thought that sounded insane so I argued with him asking if I could just have a dry towel and his ending statement was he “did not have a key to the laundry room” I deserve nothing less then a full refund for this insane interaction. That hotel needs checked and corrected and I’ll be happy to explain and more questions
