Complimentary Bentley rise was the highlight. Jim was a fantastic driver and tour guide
Breakfast ok. No coffee service at table

Amazing stay! Staff super friendly. The hotel is beautiful very well located and the breakfast is delicious
The hotel was comfortable and clean interesting period property
Staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel also stored or excess luggage and passports
Shower over bath was a bit awkward
Location was excellent. Room was a good size. Check in staff were very helpful and friendly.
A delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
It would have been nice to be aware that the Bentley experience was only available at weekends as we had been looking forward to this.
Parts of our room were very dusty especially at the side of the bed. Window surrounds need cleaning.
Small travel sized shampoo and body was would have made bathing a lot easier.
Lovely hotel, nice mix of the old and modern. The restaurant/ bar area is really nice.
great room, great staff and great breakfast. location was good too
it was all good
Room and bed comfortable; good cleanliness, including public areas; effective air conditioning; excellent breakfast (quality and choice); attentive restaurant staff; lots to see-and-do within easy walking distance.
Lots of stairs/steps to negotiate; restaurant lacking atmosphere (it needs to attract more customers!); restaurant/bar/buffet areas need a 'refresh'; more servers required for bar and courtyard areas.
Breakfast was good with a broad offering at the buffet. Staff were efficient and friendly. Hotel is well located to explore the city on foot. The decor is stylish and nicely done.
Central location
Bathroom very basic - no towel rails and only one hook on back of door
Location, staff, the unexpected upgrade!!
Maybe paying to park!
Good location and parking (paid) was very useful. Rooms are fine. Staff generally friendly and competent wit a few exceptions.
Nothin in particular, although breakfast service was slightly chaotic
My room had a cracked window awaiting repair with a notice not to open it. It was an extremely hot May bank holiday weekend and I was not going to be at all comfortable without having a window open.
The staff were fantastic in not only moving me to another room in the hotel but upgrading me to a much larger room which was very much appreciated indeed.
Great team work from the staff and a very relaxing stay.
Nothing !
Really old property -nicely done.
Nothing
Hotel room very comfortable hotel staff very helpful and friendly always someone on hand to assist. Restaurant was lovely had some nice vegetarian options. The hotel had plenty of parking available and was both modern yet traditional. Would recommend and stay there again.
Always feel in every hotel they could offer a few more vegan options. We invited family to hotel for dinner(2 are vegans ) they did have a couple of choices for them but not many.
Very cool hotel, one of the oldest in the country and a really good experience to feel the classic british aura
