Restaurant & bar could've been better
This is a Hotel with a long history and an excellent reputation.
A golfing friend of mine who used to be a senior member of Barclays Bank in Norwich in the 70's said that the hotel was an excellent place to stay , with a fine restaurant, service and a focal point of Norwich.
He was not wrong. We had a wonderful time / experience. Should we be in Norwich again we would definitely book your hotel again. Thanks

Room overlooked car park which is ok when in a city, the room itself was absolutely fine.
Getting a drink at the bar after dinner was a bit frustrating, it took a long time as there was only one person serving, not their fault, but a extra server would make a difference.

We came for our wedding anniversary and was upgraded to a juniour suite and had rose petals on the bed. Was a really nice suprise.

Walking distance from the station and situation in the city centre near shops and restaurants. Check in was efficient and friendly and the room was a really nice size and beautifully decorated. We have stayed here before and will do again.
Shower was great but was leaking so will cause damage to the floor and door in time.
Very comfortable hotel with good food and very well located in the centre of the town
The location of the hotel is very central for sightseeing and shopping. The staff were extremely helpful, professional, and hospitable. The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable as was the bedroom. Highlight for us was being offered a complimentary tour of the city in a 1955 Bentley by our lovely driver Nick who was able to give us a very informative guide on the city as we went along. Absolute loved our stay and will definitely return in the summer.
