Pleasant Weekend Stay
Pros:

A friend and I stayed at Tru by Hilton in the Dayton area for the last weekend in June while visiting a mutual friend. Before we arrived, the manager called to explain that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel couldn't provide the two-queen room we had reserved. She went above and beyond by giving us two separate rooms for the price of one, along with a small credit on my bill. She even followed up the next day to make sure everything met our expectations.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I truly appreciated the excellent customer service and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the Dayton area.

Good value, nice room and facilities
Pros:

Clean, well located, friendly staff, nice breakfast.

Cons:

The only issue we ran into is that the shower stopped working (worked for me, but not my wife)

Clean quiet

Cons:

Pool was cold. Actually too cold for us to even stay I. More then a few minutes. Everyone at the pool agreed and said they asked management to turn on heater.

Decent value, but glad I wasn’t staying long.
Pros:

Location was good and lobby was nice and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The room was dirty - large clump of hair left on the shower drain, crushed up chips on the chair. Noisy all night - a/c unit was loud and could hear walking on the floor above.

Overall, our stay was very nice.
Pros:

Most everything went very well. The only hiccup was not the fault of the hotel.

Cons:

One evening, someone let their small children run and play in the hallway. Another evening, some teenagers decided to play some form of "door-ding-dash". You can't blame the hotel for this, you have to blame the parents.
