Pros:

The staff was amazing. Professional and kind. No complaints on staff.

Cons:

The tile floor throughout the reception and food area was sticky. Two days in a row. The fruit offered for breakfast and snak time.. was old. Very mushy.
The awnings from far you can see are pretty dirty. And our room you can smell the water/humidity. Maybe bcuz we were close to the pool? Not sure

Don't stay here!
Pros:

Though the staff (front desk and breakfast) were friendly, and the room and public areas were very clean, the property hard goods need a lot of work.
1. The inside pool. An absolute health hazard. Having a note on the door that you are 'aware' of the problem doesn't fix anything nor make it right for the guests. The inside pool should be closed (or safety reasons. And this should be noted on the website and when guests are making renovations. Personally, I was planning on using the indoor pool and very disappointed it was unavailable. Compensation or a rate adjustment should be made for your guests.
2. The exterior windows are too thin and do not close properly. I was in a room facing the highway – the volume of the noise was unacceptable. I (and future guests) should be notified about this well in advance and given a choice (or rate adjustment). The note in the room with earplugs was an insult! You tell me I have to put in earplugs! Then with or without, have the volume on the TV too loud, and raise my voice to have a conversation. Again, the fact you are ‘aware’ of the problem does not make it right for your guests. You should not sell these rooms!
3. The thermostat in the room (#211) was broken. The room was way too cold and there wasn’t any way to adjust it. We even tried putting the heat up to 76 and it made no difference. And we couldn’t open the window to mitigate the temperature.
4. The inside security door lock in our room was broken – it didn’t move more than an inch and couldn’t lock the door.
5. The grog shop was embarrassing. We wanted to purchase something other than a snack, but most of the items were shrimp. That’s very limited, and again frustrating.

As a long-time Marriot member I found this stay and facility far below the standard I expect from a Marriott property.

Pros:

Breakfast staff were so helpful. The guy cooking fresh omelettes was a legend!!

Cons:

The door latch on our room was broken/screws missing but that was what it was, can’t complain. Was still a good hotel.

The property worked for what we needed. It just needs a facelift.
Pros:

Good location. Easy to reach off the freeway. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly.

Cons:

The property needs to be refurbished. Wallpaper is peeling and damaged in the bathrooms and hallways. Wood finishes are chipped and need touch up. Chandelier in lobby the globes are heavy with dust. There is little sound proofing in the rooms. You could hear voices quite plainly in the adjacent rooms and people walking in the rooms above. I didn’t like paying $10 a night for unsecured parking.

all in all, it was pleasant
Pros:

Breakfast was nice, although there werent bananas - which I feel are morning staples for breakfast. Our room was clean, there were some obvious dings(from luggage or furniture moving), could be wiped down with some mr. clean sponge but really it didnt bother me as long as the beds, shower and toilets were clean.

Cons:

the maze to our room in 106, a facility map would have helped, we walked by some areas twice before trying to connect dots of where our room was located.
