Good place to stay. DC is very safe

Good stay, a bit pricey
Pros:

Location is good. Staff most of them good and friendly except a couple. Room service was great in terms of cleaning.

Pleasant stay at State Plaza Hotel. Always felt safe.
Pros:

We enjoyed staying in a spacious suite at State Plaza Hotel. The location is within 15 minute walk to Lincoln Memorial & 10 minutes to the Metro. The staff was always friendly, especially Gerald and Andy at the front desk, always helpful.

Fantastic location for monument watching
Pros:

Love the location very close to the National Mall, and to the Foggy Bottom neighborhood, also had a full kitchen there made things very convenient. The staff was particularly helpful from the engineering to housekeeping bellman and especially Miguel at the front desk, he was extremely helpful resolved all my issues answered all my questions, thank you Miguel! We will definitely be back to Washington DC and there's no question we will be staying at State Plaza.

Cons:

Needed to keep the bathroom door closed as there was a constant motor hum with a bit of a noise but nothing that couldn't be overcome by closing the door.

Great staff!
Pros:

Had a nice stay at the State Plaza across from George Washington University. You can check in on the south side on E Street or the north side on F Street. Hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Had breakfast at the downstairs Garden Cafe which was very good. My highlight is the staff. Everyone was friendly in the hallways and the north lobby. Christy, Endi and Alex were super helpful and extremely nice with the room, getting taxis and general stuff. Would stay again.

Great stay
Pros:

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a genuinely pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and quick to assist with check-in, which set a positive tone for the rest of my stay.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. The room has a small kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator. The bed was comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day.
There is a Garden Café on site with a full bar. The food was good and reasonably priced. It was great place to grab a nightcap.
The hotel’s location was also a big plus; it was within walking distance of nearby Monuments.
The staff was always friendly and ready to help with any questions or requests.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others and would consider staying here again in the future.

Our stay at the State Plaza hotel in DC Foggy Bottom was pleasant and convenient for our itinerary.
Pros:

The State Plaza hotel was a good location for our DC/Arlington itinerary. Most of our activities were walking distance from the hotel. The accomodations were comfortable and the kitchenette was convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room appearance was dated. The TVs were small for the space. The room needs an upgrade, like some of the rooms shown on the website. The hotel restaurant didn’t have dinner hours during our stay.
