When in DC, we would never stay at a different hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful historical architecture, wonderfully helpful knowledge and accommodating staff, superb cleanliness, large and comfortable room, great location, excellent restaurant and bar

Cons:

There is nothing we have not liked in the last five years of staying at this hotel.

It was great except for the pillows.
Pros:

Great location. Very clean.

Cons:

There were four pillows on the bed, but unfortunately, they were all the same type. I found them very firm and quite high for my preference. As a suggestion, it might be helpful to provide a mix of pillows—perhaps two that are firm and high, as you currently have, and two that are softer and lower. This would give guests the option to choose the type of pillow that is most comfortable for them and their preferred sleeping position.

This was a fantastic location in the centre of DC, near everywhere we needed to get to
The restaurant served excellent food at affordable price. My best part was the room - spacious, clean and very comfortable. I only wish we had a better view from our room.

L’emplacement !! Le style ancien et de caractère de cet hôtel, très charmant. À 2 pas du centre de Washington et des lieux à visiter. Équipement très correct et confortable. Fer à repasser bienvenu 😉

Parfait. L'emplacement est top on peut faire beaucoup de choses a pied et vous avez le métro non loin .
Le personnel était très agréable et la chambre immense

Un cvs et un food court en face pr vous restaurez .

It was pleasant enough. Mainly due to the staff. It just feels very dark.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable, but "squeaky". Bedding, towels and bathrooms were clean. Rooms are quite large. The location was good and close to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel is very dark. Partially due to the age of the building and partially because it is set between two buildings and therefore, we had not much natural light. The hotel delivers an old-time field, also the furniture does not quite hit the mark. Amenities are inconsistent. We had rooms where the minibar was fully stocked, and we had rooms where it was empty. Some of us received complimentary water, others not.

Lovely hotel, great location for business and sightseeing, rooms spacious, clean and comfortable!
Pros:

The location is great, easy walking distance to restaurants and ideally situated between 2 metro stations for getting around the city. The room was very large, nice bathroom, lovely comfy bed and bed linens, a/c worked well. Very quiet in the evenings. Staff were very nice. We only ordered breakfast to go from the restaurant, but it was very good and reasonably priced, unfortunately we didn't have any other meals there, but it's a lovely cozy vibe. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Cons:

The only thing was the in room lamps which are the only source of lighting in the room, they're very old and had to be turned on manually individually, the lampshades very wobbly - could really use some direct usb port plug in locations near the bed.
