Overall, i was happy with the room. I would encourage you to install USB plug ins to update a bit.
Pros:

The Suite met my expectations for room size and comfort. It was nice that each room had its own door.

Cons:

Someone didnt thoroughly vet the room supplies. I was short in the refrigerator, and in the bathroom there was no bath gel in the shower(bottle was empty).

Pros:

Location and wifi was good. There is another barroom, which was interesting.

Cons:

But the restaurant and coffee shop were not convenient enough. There is no lobby. It was fine, but the price is not worth it. The lighting was uncomfortable. There are different lamps that should be on and off separately. It sounds like a classic hotel, but I preferred a bigger lobby to enjoy a shared space.

Pros:

The king size bed was super comfortable, and we had extra pillows. We slept really well. I really appreciated the lighting. There were table lamps instead of overhead lighting, and it is just so much nicer. The room was spacious and had a comfy chair, and a desk with a chair, even a small kitchenette, with a mini bar (which we did not use) but we liked having a fridge to put a few things in, and a coffee maker, and wine glasses. The hotel has historic charm, and everyone was very friendly and helpful, even lending us umbrellas, and storing our luggage after check out.
The location was convenient to the Foggy Bottom metro, with easy access to the airport and the Smithsonian museums.
I also want to say that it was a very good price. I highly recommend this hotel when you are visiting Washington DC

Cons:

The kitchenette could be a little better if it had a a few plates, or fork or spoon, but we had plastic togo ones. A microwave would have been terrific.
But just having a small table and chairs to eat at was very nice.

Great value for money
Pros:

Good location. Near public transportation and not far from tourist attractions. Hotel is old but great structure with details on it that makes stay pleasant.
