Zimmer neben dem Aufzug - extrem laut
Comfortable beds and a good shower provided. I would appreciate more storage space other than the hangers provided. I would also appreciate independent BBC News on the TV rather than USA generated programming so that I can receive a more neutral, verified, source of news. The staff were extremely hospitable and generous with their time.
Pleasant stay for 2 nights. Place was clean, all services available. Can’t comment on pool or sauna but looked nice. Ate at restaurant but they didn’t do the swordfish well despite everything else well presented
Staff not especially friendly, rooms tired. Rooms NOT clean & even when we asked for handwash to be replaced it wasn’t done. Only made the bed, no fresh towels, no hoovering or cleaning - very poor indeed. Rooms dated, shower/bathroom small. Ironing board broken, laundry area the fan doesn’t work.
Friendly chap in the bar though.
No scenic room as the hotel name suggests. Easy to walk into town & nice to be by beautiful park.
If you stay try Dolce cafe restaurant nearby for a super meal & amazing Bocky boo gelato icecream shop.
Rooms and interior very modern and up to date, swimming pool big and lovely area.
Wonderful large room with smooth linen and brilliant bathroom. Staff are exceptional- can’t wait to return
Location is great
Needs property upgrade maintenance
Great location, close to everything. It’s only a short walk to the city centre, and we really enjoyed the Saturday market—it was awesome!!
Unfortunately, we arrived when the weather was cool to say the least so despite its close proximity to town we were unable to go in the heavy rain to seek out a restaurant in the evening.
Instead we used the spa facilities for the 30 minute slot that remained: the spa was clean and we would have liked to stay in for longer. The last orders in the hotel restaurant was 8.30pm, so we chose to eat there and the food was good: the waiter was courteous and friendly too.
Unfortunately our bed was the least comfortable of those we had slept in on our tour of Aus and NZ and the sunken mattress definitely needs replacing. If you are on the top floor of the hotel, you need to be fairly tall to look out of the window to see out which makes it quite claustrophobic.
A small thing - but the receptionist on arrival tried to find out if our room was ready as we arrived just before 2pm and she obviously had some beef with the chambermaid as she was raising her eyebrows and pulling faces at us while speaking to her on the phone! A little unprofessional we thought.
Location was nice & close to town, we enjoyed a
Swim in the pool which was nice & clean. Our room was great, very clean and the bed was comfortable. We will absolutely stay again.
No negatives.
Clean ,tidy, modern looking. Nice Bathroom.
Bed too soft for me.
