2，屋外のステージの音楽が深夜3:00まで大音量で流して眠れなかった。イベント前日の宿泊はやめるべき　3，高層階22階以上で､眺望良い　クラブラウンジ使用の部屋を予約したが満室を理由に15階の普通部屋にダウングレードされた代わりの特典無し　4，クラブラウンジの代わりに3階の朝食会場を使用させられた。5，早口の英語で説明して部屋の鍵を押し付けられた。6，後で調べると予約部屋料金と実際に宿泊した料金差が２万円安い部屋で　なんの追加サービスも無かった。詐欺に引っ掛かった気分です　７，ホテルはオーバーブッキングをしてBooking､comの予約者をダウングレードしたBooking comはホテルにクレームして下さい。部屋の差額料金を私に返金して下さい。8，祝日のイベントがある時はこのホテルはやめた方が良い。政府系の役人が多数宿泊している　　9，調べるとこの国では一方的にホテルキャンセルがあるそうだ，私は宿泊出来たのでラッキーかもしれない。飛行機に乗る時ビジネス席を予約してエコノミー席に座った気分，不思議な国，思い出に残る旅行でした。

1. Arrived at the hotel at 16:00 but couldn't enter the room until 18:00; I had to wait in the lobby for two hours. A "late check-out" service (extending the stay by three hours) was added as compensation.
2. Loud music from the outdoor stage played until 3:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep. You should avoid staying here the night before an event. 3. I had booked a room on a high floor (22nd or above) with a good view and club lounge access, but I was downgraded to a standard room on the 15th floor because the hotel was fully booked; no alternative benefits were offered. 4. Instead of the club lounge, I was directed to use the breakfast venue on the 3rd floor. 5. The staff explained things in rapid-fire English and practically thrust the room key into my hand. 6. Upon checking later, I found a 20,000-yen difference between the rate for the room I booked and the one I actually stayed in, yet I received no additional services. I feel like I was scammed. 7. The hotel overbooked and downgraded the guest who booked via Booking.com. Booking.com, please file a complaint with the hotel and refund me the price difference. 8. It is best to avoid this hotel when there are events on public holidays, as many government officials stay there. 9. I learned that hotels in this country sometimes cancel reservations unilaterally, so perhaps I was lucky just to get a room at all. It felt like booking a business class seat on a flight but ending up in economy—a strange country and a truly memorable trip.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay with family and elderly parents.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, a wide variety of local and Western options, the coffees were good, and the juice bar was amazing! Rooms were fantastic, staff were all very courteous and efficient. Location fantastic as it is connected to Plaza Indonesia.

Cons:

Some of the deep-fried fritters at breakfast were too oily. Perhaps to be fried in cleaner oil and at a higher temperature, so the food does not absorb too much oil. The band playing at the hotel was just okay, not as entertaining as the Merje Band that played there a few years back. We would have preferred a local Indonesian band.

My frequent visits to Jakarta will land me in Grand Hyatt for its location and spacious clean rooms.

The location of the hotel is good and linked to Plaza Indonesia for ease of shopping and food. also adjacent to Grand Indonesia. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Cons:

While I have requested for connecting room with my elderly parents. However, this was not provided for. Appreciate if the hotel can look through reservations request and be flexible to accede especially for the elderlies.

Still a Great Property living up to it's "GRAND" Hyatt Name
Pros:

The Grand Hyatt Hotel location is very convenient, adjoining Plaza Indonesia and just across the road from Grand Indonesia. The traffic around the "Bunderan", the round about in front of the hotel, can be chaotic during peak hours so you best allow extra time. The hotel services are great, breakfast choices delicious with many local favourites. The public areas of the hotel are still excellent, however the room is dated and could benefit with a major renovation and refresh.

Great location and outstanding front desk service
Pros:

I stayed at Grand Hyatt Jakarta Thamrin for a business trip and had an overall comfortable experience.

The highlight of my stay was Ms Sheva at the front desk. She provided excellent service during check-in — professional, efficient, and very welcoming. Her attention to detail and courteous manner really set the tone for the stay and reflects well on Hyatt’s service standards.

The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, with a comfortable bed and good workspace for business. The location in central Thamrin was very convenient.

One small note: there was a dripping water sound from the air conditioning. The housekeeping team noticed it during cleaning and mentioned a repair request had been submitted. I trust this will be followed up.

Overall, I would recommend Grand Hyatt Jakarta, especially for the service from Ms Sheva and the convenient location.
