Prima, professioneel hotel direct aan de copacabana
Pros:

Prima hotel met professioneel personeel. Mooi uitzicht over de copacabana. Goed bed. Je hoort vrijwel geen lawaai van de straat. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Cons:

Balkon was kleiner dan we verwacht hadden. Bovendien ruikt je er duidelijk de uitlaatgassen van het verkeer. Dakterras met zwembad stelt niet zoveel voor.

Great check in experience.
Pros:

The location was great as it was facing the Copacabana Beach. Getting in and out of the hotel with Uber/van was a breeze. Check in was so pleasant as the staffs were friendly, helpful, and communicates things very transparently. We booked 3 rooms and wanted to check in early as our flight arrived in the morning. We understood that this is a difficult request, but they still helped us arrange for that and even made an effort to put our rooms close to one another. In the end, we got 2 out of 3 rooms ready by the time we checked in and another just shortly after so we could freshen up before our afternoon excursion. The rooms they prepared for us were also next to each other. Although we did not face the beach, our rooms were facing Cristo Redentor, so the view was still so pretty. We appreciated it so much. Thank you!

Cons:

The decor is a bit outdated, especially in the lobby. Though it is not essential, some updating would be great. Cleanliness could also be improved, but it might also be because the furniture is aged and is inevitably harboring dust.

Pros:

Ambiente perfeito, atendimento ímpar, funcionários sempre dispostos a ajudar e muito simpáticos, a localização é simplesmente perfeita. O café da manhã é muito bom, bastante variedade! O chuveiro é ótimo!

Cons:

A internet podia ser um pouquinho melhor, mas nada que atrapalhe muito, isso tá longe de ser algo realmente ruim! O ponto meia importante que não gostei da acomodação é o fato de não sentir vontade nenhuma de ir embora no fim da estadia, o que é muito perigoso economicamente, pois já quero voltar o mais breve possível!

Honestly, aside from a fantastic location and good view, this hotel was not great.

Cons:

Our room was dirty and generally poorly maintained with mold on the shower head and bath edges - disgusting. That’s not even something that can be cleaned. Seems they were just happy they had a great location and stuck with that. I’ve attached pictures of our bathroom.

Also found it super frustrating that we had a smart tv but were unable to use any of the apps. Once we asked, we were told it was a rule in Brazil that you can’t login with personal accounts… meanwhile I had stayed in 3 other hotels during my stay around Brazil and never once had this issue or head of this. Total rubbish.

Expérience globale très mitigée.
Pros:

Situation géographique excellente au centre de la plage de Copacabana, proche des commerces et restaurants.
Amabilité et attention du personnel du petit déjeuner (Jonathan qui parle un peu français) et du rooftop.

Cons:

Chambre 1401 malodorante à notre arrivée (odeur d'égout), coffre fort hors service. Nous descendons à la réception pour exiger une autre chambre. Deuxième chambre 1204, communicante avec la 1203, coffre fort hors service : nous entendons nos voisins. Mauvaise isolation de la porte-fenêtre. Proposition d'une chambre de catégorie inférieure par Yara parlant espagnol à la réception, nous avons refusé. Cadeau de courtoisie pour toute consolation : 3 ridicules macarons (non consommés !) avec un mot d'excuse. Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel à des amis.
