Rude staff at checkout, refused receipts, and concerns about deposit refund
Pros:

Thankful I only stayed one night

Cons:

I booked two rooms at this SpringHill Suites through Booking.com. The rooms themselves were fine and we left them in pristine condition.
The problem was at checkout. The front-desk associate (Kayla) was extremely rude, and when I asked for receipts she refused to provide them. I then spoke with the General Manager, who was even more unprofessional and also refused to give me the receipts.
I am now concerned that the $50 incidental deposit on each room ($100 total) will not be released properly, even though nothing was damaged or taken. I have already filed a formal complaint with Marriott corporate that includes both the associate and the General Manager.
I expect a hotel to provide a simple receipt at checkout and to treat guests with basic courtesy. Neither happened here. I will update this review once I know whether the deposits are refunded.

We may stay again next summer. This is a good option due to close to MSU.
Pros:

Breakfast was adequate. Facilities were clean. Location was convenient/near MSU and Freeways.

Cons:

If you like farm life this is location is great. Fresh smell of manure hits you in the a.m. Not inside but when you get into the parking lot. MSU is an Ag college after all!

Very clean. Good size room & bathroom.

Cons:

Breakfast was not great. Not a lot of choices. Food was not that good. Messy. No fruit.

The air conditioner was very loud in our room. We had to use ear plugs to sleep.

Very nice and clean

Cons:

The bathroom door is a frosted glass. When you get up at night to use the restroom and turn the light on it lights up the whole room. A solid door would offer more privacy.
