Great value and super convenient
Pros:

Great hotel for the money- well maintained, nice staff, near MSU. A few good food options right in the neighboring lot and a grocery store that’s reasonably walkable.

Cons:

Entrance from the main road can be a little tricky if coming from the west. There is a train line just south of the hotel, and while I didn’t find the noise to be an issue, someone very sensitive to that might.

Cons:

Fiquei surpreso ao chegar e ser informado que uma linha de trem passava próxima ao hotel (e que não havia horários regulares), e me ofereceram tampões de ouvido para evitar que o barulho incomodasse à noite. Apesar da surpresa negativa da informação, confesso que não percebi trens passando durante a noite na minha estadia.

Good hotel, terrible staff.

Great location. Rooms are nice.

There was one female hotel night manager that was a wicked lady. She ruined the entire stay for us. It was my first time taking my son to an MSU basketball game. Everyone was having a good time and she ruined everything. If you’re that miserable in life maybe you shouldn’t be in customer service.
We were in the lobby talking and having fun. One minute ticked past the 11:00 pm mark and this nasty terrible lady who works at the front came up and started yelling at all of us (adults) for breaking the silence time. We quickly apologized, not knowing what time it was. She continued to explain to us in a rude fashion on how loud we are like we were her kindergarten students.
This lady is a pure Karen and the hotel needs to do something about it.
