Baymont by Wyndham Coon Rapids

Cocktail roach found in room. Breakfast had 3 different items. Not worth the risk to eat anything after seeing brown watery mixture come out of orange juice. Tried to make kid a waffle. Waffle iron not turned on. Everything was beyond bad. My 2 young daughters were horrified by everything they saw.

The place was absolutely filthy. Will never go there again. Went to one before and it was very nice. That's why we booked this one. It is a dump. It smelled bad the minute we walked in. Floors were filthy. Overall...bad. We should have been refunded for our stay.

Our room was terrible, not clean and the bed was broken !!
There were drills and screwdrivers laying around. The TV didn't work. The carpet and Chair were really badly stained and smelled. The book about the hotel and surrounding area etc. looked like someone spilled on it!! It was sticky and gross. We went down to the front desk and complained and the man behind the desk and the maintenance man were yelling at each other. He finally asked me what I needed and said he will be up to our room in a few minutes to check it out. We waited for 1hour and then went downstairs and checked out. I expect a full refund!!!

The room was decent, moatly clean, comfortable bed, however really glad I brought my own pillow as the ones provided were badly stained with no pillowcases. It was pretty quiet generally, but the room doors didn't close without being yanked, which led to a lot of random bangs at night that scared me awake. The breakfast had very few options and any non-carpeted areas were really sticky. Did it work, yes. Would i stay there again? No.

Stains on the walls and floors. Smelt sour. And everything was falling apart.

Seemed like a safe neighborhood, but the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, only one garbage provided, the console had drawers screwed shut as they were broken. Seemed to need a lot of little maintenance things. Pool was out of order as well.

Place was dirty, no staff service, rooms weren't clean, lobby was extremely loud from other guests who seem to be partying. Lobby smelled like cigarettes.

I showed up about an hour early and the front desk person said that check in is at 3pm. I told him that I know. He went and to see if they were done cleaning the room. He gives the key, i go and look at it and it still wasn't clean like the hotel that I stayed at for 4 days. There was a ballon next tonthe bed. There were ant all over the one side of the bed. The dresser drawers were sealed with screws. The remote control was not linked to the tv had no back plate for batteries. There was still hair in the bathroom and not mine. There were some kind of panels under the dresser.

Smells, dingy and not to friendly

Pool was closed, hallways were dirty, the room door wouldn’t lock at all.

The pool was out of order when i looked in the door they had hundreds of old air units sitting around the pool no water in the pool rooms had dirty floors air units dont work mold on ceilings one room had bugs and clogged toilet first room had an old uint in the middle of our room floor water smelled funny i do not recommend at the price they have listed the price should be under 50 bucks

When I arrived it looked like a refuge camp. There were people outside cooking on grills and makeshift tables everywhere. I asked the front desk clerk if this was safe and he laughed and said yes. Our room was full of stains from the walls with poop and the furniture had different stain colors. The next morning the crowds of people were yelling in the lobby with no regard of anyone else and the counter people just ignored it or were included in the load conversations of whatever language it was. That night we had to go in a side door because they blocked the front entrance. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!!

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Not sure where to even begin. The staff wasnt knowledgeable about the hotel itself, was told when we arrived the pool was being renevated and we had specifically picked this hotel for the pool, (after looking at past reviews the pool has been being "renovated" since AT LEAST Dec 2024) its very clearly just being used as a storage area as you can see under the blinds on the wibdows trying to hide the fact. The inside and outside of the building were filthy and disgusting. There are CLEARLY people living in the hotel that seem to think they own the place and literally take over. The breakfast was PATHETIC. Waffles.. maybe an apple or two and cereal thats almost empty. Theres a toaster and whn i asked about something to put in it the guy just shrugged at me and said theres a toaster there. The website claims they have all these great things, including omlettes made for you by an attendant. No sign of any such thing. Our room had a broken picture on the wall with a hufe chunk of glass missing from it. The tv didnt work and we had to have someone come in and it took him having to go get 3 different tvs then sitting there trying to set it up. And the only reason he even came to do it was brcause my dad was talking to him outside (he had told the manager but he hadnt said anything to anyone about it)
Was just a horrible stay overall.

Old dirty hotel, old dirty sheets blankets smell of mold lack of towels no pool access which was shown on Website. Will not ever go back!!!!!

The pool wasn't functional. No water in it even. No cable. She said she would come to the room twice and never showed up for the whole day and night. No phones in the room. Water in the tub didn't drain for several minutes. Not worth 170 a night thats for sure. Maybe 60 a night. The beds were comfortable and clean. That's the only thing that was.

Staff was friendly, personable, and very helpful!

We arrived at 11:00 p.m. with people talking loudly in the parking lot and in the welcome seating area. Entire hotel either smelled like fish guts or marijuana coming from various rooms. Mini fridge in room had black mold in it and smelled horrendous. Microwave missing glass spinning plate. TV did not work even after plugging all cords back in. Window in room was open when we arrived most likely to vent the stinky fridge. Both bed sheets had Trace amount of dirt left on them and each had a dried out bug body on them. There was no box of tissues in the room. Breakfast was lacking just before 9:00 a.m. We stayed as my daughter recently had surgery on her leg and needed to lay down and I was not about to keep dragging her hotel to hotel. Room cost $211 but that was more a Minnesota St Paul on a Friday night issue...

The building was filthy. Their was a rock in side door so no security. The building wreaked of marijuana. The swimming pool was full of mattresses. There was mold in refrigerator, blood and filth on bedding and sticky floors. The room had not been cleaned from last guests. They just made the bed and said they were short staffed. They came in to clean fridge and change sheets (not pillow cases or comforter) while we were already checked in. I did not stay and have yet to get a refund.
