It was satisfactory. I don’t take much breakfast in the morning.
Not much I’m just a plain Jane eater maybe a little more fruits available
I am giving this hotel 2 stars because the breakfast was decent; however, overall, we were not satisfied with our stay. The lobby had an unpleasant smell, and the room felt old, well-worn, and in need of a deep cleaning. The overall atmosphere also had an uncomfortable vibe.
There was loud noise from the furnace and constant noise from people walking upstairs. The ceilings were very low, especially in the bathroom. As a result, we were not able to sleep well.
We have stayed at many Hilton hotels, and this was by far the worst one. The room we stayed in needs an immediate facelift and thorough cleaning. It is disappointing that this hotel is part of the Hilton brand. We would not return.
The hotel room was in a pretty sad state. Torn couch fabric, uncomfortable mattress long overdue for replacement, dingy old towels, old dinged furniture. Busy weekend in Lafayette, so very limited room availability. But we will do our best skipping this hotel next time we are in town.
Great location. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room is extended stay but only has 2 mismatched glass glasses. No dish soap, dish clothes or towels. Fireplace doesn’t work.
Our room had no hand soap. Like this place but they need to get with it.
Room is clean and comfortable
The pictures online are not accurate. It’s outdated the furniture was stained and curtains were ripped up. Not much lighting, the heat and ac is very loud. The outside of the room needs to swept.
The only thing i had trouble was with tv remote it wouldn't change channels the one in lounge.it would for a little bit then it would stop.
Nice stay
AC didnt work well in the room while living area got really cold. No cleaning lady was sent to the room to clean and no new towels were provided for the next day. Will not stay in any of the Hiltons from now on.
Booked a 2 room suite and didn’t realize it meant adjoining rooms and this wasn’t explained at the front desk, I guess they assumed we knew this. Had to go back to ask about our reservation because we didn’t want to just start trying to open the locked door between rooms. Wish it had been better explained by the staff at check-in that a two room suite meant ‘adjoining rooms’.
After all that, the toilet in one room did not flush and we had to ask twice to get it fixed. Also the hand soap and body wash was empty, but they did give us a bar of soap at the front desk.
None of the was really a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again for all the extra space. After we figured it out it was a great stay with plenty of space between the 2 rooms.
This property is a rundown MOTEL. It has multiple buildings, many rooms open to the outside. Our curtain had a 6 or 7 inch gap on the edge. The carpet and furniture were terribly stained and smelled. The washcloth smelled like it wasn't clean or maybe had been used as a dish rag. The mattress sagged. There are no ice machines. This stay has me really thinking about ditching Hilton properties as my exclusive hotel. The only redeeming quality is that the staff was nice and the lobby area was nice.
Ac is very loud, however the facility is very nice.
Everything
There wasn't anything I didn't like
There was frankly nothing to not like about this Homewood suites property located in Lafayette IN. From cleanliness, to quality lodging, to the clean and beautiful breakfast spread. Very impressive to say the least, and thank you for being hospitable.
Everything was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back. I thought we wouldn't like the outside access to the room, but it was way quieter than the indoor access most hotels have.
I guess I expected more from a "Hilton". Got checked in ok. When we got to the room, the keys didn't work. Went back to the fron desk to get more keys. Got back to the room and they still didn't work. Called the front desk and the clerk came, and we figured out, she wrote down the wrong room number. So I was trying to get into a room that wasn't mine. Not only was this inconvenient, but also dangerous in my opinion. Everything was loud. The AC unit, the blower fan in the bathroom fan and the toilet kep running as if it wasn't filling up. I took the top off the tank and was horrified at what I saw!! A brown, dark and gross tank. Upon checkout, the clerk for the day, didn't even ask how the stay was. I'm pretty sure I'll avoid this place in the future.
