Disappointed
Pros:

The bathroom was remodeled and their staff were very nice.

Cons:

It was not very nice, it lacked visual appeal, no character, no landscaping, plants were dead. It was a side of the road motel. We reserved for only one night thank goodness and we were hardly in the room but to sleep. We did not have a very restful evening due to outside noise and the room next to us. I think we just expected a higher standard, although reviews were good, we now know better for next time. You get what you paid for.

Pros:

Great location, staff is friendly, cute old time motor court with the Senator in residence out in the parking lot. (An ancient live oak)

Cons:

The rehab of the rooms was poorly done. The floors could use a good scrubbing.

Pleasant staff and clean room

Cons:

We had no hot water for the shower one morning during our stay. I called the front desk and the problem was rectified by the time we returned from breakfast.

Pros:

Nothing! We wouldn’t even sleep there the night because of the condition of the room and the hotel was just as bad. They asked for a credit card for $100 charge if there were any damages to the room, then we went in the room and it looked like somebody broke into it already and everything was disgusting. I wish I could’ve left more pictures and the video that I took, but the videos is too long and it won’t upload.

Cons:

Everything! I should’ve known better when I asked to use the restroom in the lobby and it looked like a gas station bathroom. And the worst part about it is that we didn’t even get reimbursed we had to pay for another hotel room. I’ve used Booking.com for all of my travel plans, but I’ll never book with Booking.com again. They have lost a valuable customer.

Almost there....
Pros:

I liked how close it is to downtown. I liked that it has a history and a bit of old fashioned charm. The outside presentation is lovely.

Cons:

The room door was broken and needed to be replaced...I should've taken pictures but I'm not going to complain too hard. We at least stayed warm and dry.

Can't wait to go and stay again
Pros:

Everything. Perfect location, can walk to a lot of things. Hot breakfast everyday of the week. Bed and pillows were comfortable.< I'll miss them >

Cons:

The closest ice machine was down. And the Juice machine in the breakfast room was down.... no waffle machine.
