A lovely warm welcome by the really friendly staff. This was my second visit of the year but this time it was with my eldest child as we were looking around the university. Great location for the open day and easy access to the train station just a few minutes walk away. Room lovely and clean. We had requested that the sofa bed be set up in advance by emailing the hotel and it was ace to see it all done when we arrived. Breakfast was good and it was lovely to see that they had taken on the feedback around the way that the cereals were displayed.
We actually checked out and headed to the train station only to find all our trains were cancelled and at that point we had no other option but to rebook and stay another night The staff were friendly even though they were a bit bemused having just said bye. I was sad that the hotel removed our points for staying the first night it added to the frustration of having to change our plans. That said the second room was lovely and comfortable and it was great to have the mini fridge to keep our purchases in. We will most definitely stay here again
