Location was in the heart of Annapolis.
Facilities were outdated. Limited on site amenities (no staff on site, no food other than coffee in morning). Limited parking.
The location was excellent and the staff very pleasant
The bathroom was impossible to maneuver due to the small size and I am not a big person. The shower pressure was a trickle. and could hardly turn around. The toilet needed repaired as it kept running. The heater blew in my face all night due to it being a wall heater and not distributing in the room. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and had not support. Would suggest to replace the bed. The pillows felt old and need new stuffing.
To top it off there was no coffee in the lounge as promised on several mornings.. Overall, we will not recommend or stay there again.
Clean and comfortable
Historic
So much character. Walkable great area near awesome shops and the harbor. Just lovely.
The hotel is very convenient to all of downtown Annapolis, within walking distance of everything.
The room was clean and comfortable no problems there.
Not having on-site parking was a nuisance, as was having to wait until 4 to check in, although I know that is normal for most hotels. It meant that we had to find alternative parking until we could check in. Also, no breakfast.
It was located right on Main Street, in downtown. The staff were very attentive and always worried about us, helping at every moment. They replied to our messages immediately and were truly helpful.
I didn’t like having to do the check-in and check-out in a different building. With the snow and the suitcases, it was a bit annoying. Also, the heater was right next to the bed, so the noise was annoying throughout the night.
Excellent location. Quiet.
Shower floor was a little slippery. Did not feel like there was much of a non-skid surface on it. Made me a little nervous.
We love the period furnishings and the location in DTA.
Loud party downstairs, and expensive valet parking
Beautiful historic building and interior design. Perfect location. On Main Street with all the restaurants and shops. And the hotel staff was so friendly. Keep up the good work.
We have wanted to stay at the Maryland Inn for so long. We live 30 minutes from Annapolis. After the holiday stresses my husband and I thought, let’s have a staycation to just be a couple. Reconnect and just be in each other’s presence. Upon checking in we were fortunate to be the guests of the day, to be upgraded, and have some bite sized pastries waiting in our room. We felt so special. The hotel itself is true to the historic charm and comes with uneven baseboards and original structural integrity, but that only adds to the charm. We were given ample window units to chill the room and the room itself was inviting. The bar downstairs coupled with the history of the drummer boy was nice to have for a final night cap. We would have loved to have been able to see the other room on the other side of the bar. Really enjoyed exploring and the convenience of the location. God truly blessed our staycation with pleasant surprises along the way.
Location is perfect...staff is friendly and helpful.
Beds are very comfortable
It was very luxurious with an old money feel. Perfect for our date night.
