I love visiting black Mountain, and staying at this property

Great hotel in a beautiful community
Pros:

Loved the location and the layout of the hotel. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff was super friendly.

Cons:

Housekeeping did not provide fresh towels during our stay, and I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels/washcloths.

Cons:

This is the 2nd year in a row staying at this Hampton Inn and you can't control the temperature in the rooms....it is very hot even with air conditioning on and both times have been in January!

Minus the smell of the room, the hotel room and facilities were very nice.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, staff was helpful amd friendly, location to downtown was great.

Cons:

We did not travel with an animal but noticed alot of guests did. You should have certain rooms reservered for those guests that have dogs. Unfortunately our room smelled like a wet dog, we just dealt with the smell.i would have preferred a room that did not previouly have an animal stay in it.
