The breakfast was fair, the location was of the scale
I was staying at room 33, I booked this room as a treat for my wife and I 35th wedding anniversary, my wife is in recovery from breast Cancer, so a quite balcony with Superlative views was just the tonic,
But unfortunately we had a dog left alone on the balcony above us which constantly barked for what seemed like almost an hour, so really put a bid damper on our quiet evening, i know it's a dog friendly place but seriously this was nit acceptable, I actually complained to reception and 25mins later I went down to reception to complain again as it continued, I was told the owners were having food and when they finished they go back to their room and attend to the dog.
Sorry but this spoiled what should have been such a perfect weekend
The view was exceptional. Food was lovely, both dinner and brakfast.
Difficult access to our room. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the only lift was a disabled lift via the spa.
The view was spectacular.
The room was dated and a little shabby.
Fantastic location
Seemed a little dated
Another lovely stay at our favourite hotel
Staff friendly and helpful, dinner and breakfast excellent
View amazing
Unfortunatly the hotel is tired and needs some TLC.
We love the location and the originality of the hotel
The breakfast experience has changed. Whilst it was a good breakfast it’s now a buffet as opposed to table service
The location is amazing
The rooms are tired and well overdue refurbishment
I had a problem with the heating and the reception sent a ventilator for the night till a plumber arrived the next morning. Very thoughtful.
If you arrive with a big suitecase, the elevator is far.
Beautiful location & delicious food & large rooms.
Room 23 - awkward getting in/out of bath. Walk in shower would be a future improvement. Furniture replacement so it matches in future.
