The location awesome
Tiffany our check in agent was Superb her professional and attention to our needs were amazing
On the surface, it looks like a nice hotel. But once we checked in and started walking around, we noticed lots and lots of roaches by the reception area and right beside Ruth’s Chris steakhouse, broken floor tiles everywhere throughout hotel on the first floor, rat trap at the back door, and multiple areas where they store cleaning supplies right out in the open and they also had stacked chairs stored right out in the open. Hotel is very unkept and I would not stay here again! Especially at $200 a night!
The room was exceptional
The check in agent was not friendly or welcoming at all. There were no luggage carts available. And of course I was given a room that was the furthest from the elevators, so it was A long walk with all my items with no luggage cart, for a man my age. The hotel was to big for me, I'll never stay there again.
At some point in it's history, it was clearly a high-class hotel. The fixtures and materials were high-quality. However, that time has passed. The staff, for the most part were pleasant and kind. The location is good, and the koi ponds and atrium facilities are very nice.
The issue would be with housekeeping. The floors had old candy (Skittles) all over it, and old ground-in cereal flakes were in the carpet. The noise was horrible, The window from the 3rd floor was an old sliding-glass door that did not block any noise at all and you could hear every outside noise in a downtown area. The electrical, when you can find an outlet, was either burned up or or the plugs fell out of it. And the worst part, they charge you $10 a night to park at the hotel you already paid for a room for.
Good hit and fresh
The building carpet was dirty.
