Amazing building and atrium! Staff was great!
Food/drink options felt limited, especially for vegetarians.
Good location, needs to update Google directions
Asked to stay on a higher floor was not given that, asked stay on Bayview was not given that. Carpet was dirty, no extra pillows, no blankets for the spare bed. We were on the third floor and partiers smoking up on the balcony around us at 3 AM.
Breakfast was real good
Pool little small and there’s a lot of kids during the day
Make parking free and all ev charger not only tesla
Only tesla charger
No waiting for elevators
Breakfast food and afternoon snacks were mediocre
Never once in my life have I had such an unpleasant experience during check-in. First, the front desk did not grant elevator access to our room cards. After seeing that we were unable to reach our floor in the elevator, the same person who processed our check-in told us to wait in line again to request elevator access, even though it was clearly a mistake on their end.
After they finally granted us access, I asked for one more pillow and they said okay. However, after I confirmed the request, they changed their mind and asked me to call room service to have it delivered, saying I should “get in the room first.”
During the entire process, while we had to wait such a long time just to get elevator access, there was not a single apology for their oversight. And yes, I never received the pillow I requested three times in the end.
I am still shocked by how absurdly awful the service was. This was definitely the worst hotel experience I have had in my lifetime.
This hotel is in a great spot. It’s right on the water and right by the airport. That’s the good part. It’s also very rundown. And apparently the air conditioning is only available in summer months. So my room was 76 and muggy and couldn’t be changed. Which is just odd. So sleeping wasn’t great.
Let’s start with the check in. I arrived early and requested an early check in, if available, and was told that it would be a $100 charge for early check in! I obviously did not check in early. This hotel desperately needs updating. The room is dark and dingy and had a musty old smell. The bathroom is outdated, the lighting is terrible and the shower was tricky to turn on. Also, I discovered that the body wash was empty only after already being in the shower! The mattress and pillows were very worn and not comfortable and the carpet is old and dirty. At the very least the TVs should be updated to this decade. The remotes are horrible and there's no guide or ability to stream. I love the view and am very grateful that I was upgraded to a bay view but that was the only good part of the hotel. The breakfast omelette station was great but the buffett food was cold and not edible. I will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone! Over all it was a horrible experience.
Customer service from front desk, to manager, to breakfast attendants was great. The hotel is clearly older and shows its age but the rooms are fine. Other than some slight peeling on the tin nothing jumped out as obvious issues. But the popcorn ceilings and some room furnishings remind you of its age. Location on the bay is great and there is a walking path along the water that is super handy. Breakfast buffet items were ok but not freshly made. Eggs were clearly powder and pancakes, sausage and French toast were clearly heat & serve. Omelette bar was great. I would stay here for a night in the future if I needed an SFO airport hotel but not more than a night.
Awful. I’ve been a diamond member for decades. This is the first place I’ve ever stayed where you cannot. Absolutely cannot control rhe temperature in your room. The ENTIRE hotel is set to heat.
Additionally the WiFi doesn’t work and the TV doesn’t tune any channels.
Hilton and this hotel in particular needs to get their act together and start acting like a global hotel brand. This is just awful. Never again.
