Do NOT stay at the Quality Inn, Mt Dora North
Pros:

The location was close to the Mt Dora arts festival.

Cons:

We called property 8 times in the 3 days prior to our stay. They did not answer once. Booking.com tried to call on our behalf, and e mailed the property, still no response. The room was old and worn. Rust in the bathroom, bathtub had no drain cover, just the pipe. Water didn't drain properly and was ankle deep.
We left the room for dinner and upon our return, the key cards would not open the door. We got new cards. They did not work. Maintenance had to take the lock apart for us to get into the room at which time we got "upgraded" to a suite. The ceiling was stained, the lamps had rust and the shades had years of accumulated grime. The place was disgusting. I really dont think this is a Quality Inn even though they represent themselves as one. We paid $188.00 per night. Very disappointed.

They did not have a nonsmoking rooms available. We decided to leave and booked a different hotel. We are hoping that Booking.com can get us a refund.

It was a place to sleep. Period. Way overpriced for the condition of the room.
Pros:

The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and personable, which was the only good thing about the property.

Cons:

The sofa in our room had spots and stains on it, the bathroom door and the back exit door didn’t close properly, the back of the bathroom door had paint peeling on the back of it and the toilet paper holder was rusty. Seriously lacked upkeep and maintenance.

Our room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Cigarette burn in cover Payne and it was a non smoking room. No blinds so when you opened curtains for proper light it was just a goldfish bowl I.in our room. Nearly a £100 night shocking
