At night roaches were crawling across our bed and we immediately advised the staff and checked out.
My review is not with the hotel, but with Expedia! You will never get my business again!! My reservation was not at Rodeway and they had no availability to accommodate my son and me. Terrible service! Do better!!
My day was awesome. I enjoyed working out. They have a great restaurant and inside. I love it beds real comfortable. It was wonderful one of my best stay in Williamsburg Virginia.
When arrived the reservation was for a king bed suite. The desk clerk was nice. However, we were informed there were no king beds in this hotel only doubles. The Lobby appeared clean and we did not get a room. The hotel clerk canceled our reservation. Now I am waiting for Hotels.com to refund my money. I don’t know whose fault the advertisement was, unfortunately, they didn’t answer the phone when the Hotels Rep called. Hotels says they need the hotel’s permission and the hotel says it’s up to Hotels.com. It doesn’t quite matter to me, I just want a refund for something I paid for that couldn’t be accommodated.
The check in was simple and less than 5 min. It’s convenient to the shoooing outlets. The property itself still needs a bit of work but it was quiet and clean.
Welllll, it started that we received a room that was already occupied. Oh yeah, walked right in on a family. We're lucky we weren't hurt. We reserved a king, got a full. Train too close, and a little run down.
On the plus side, they reimbursed us $40 for the non King .
The room and employees were great. We made another room reservation so we are pleased.

Room wreaked of smoke. External structure ( doors, windows, etc. ) was horrible. Paint peeling, rust all very present. Inside the room was the same and the bathroom. Fixtures are very old some have rust. Heating and AC unit was very loud and blows very strong and you can't adjust the fan. I waited almost 10 minutes at the front desk for someone to greet me. The staff person was working by themselves.
Awful, room smelled like old cigarettes and bed was way to soft, black out drapes didnt close, plus didnt match, had many holes in them. I did not stay in the end, got a refund and went somewhere else. This place used to be so much better a few years ago.
It was difficult to find. The sign is very small. Also, in our room the power strip, floor, and wall under the desk was absolutely disgusting, like really, really bad. I thought the room was clean until I noticed them. It was an ok place to spend one night.
