"The hotel's location is excellent; it's a direct line from the airport without any transfers. It is within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Amazon headquarters. I stayed here for one night before an early flight and found it to be a good spot for a quick rest. The exterior is modern and stylish, and while the interior is basic, it is perfectly acceptable for a short stay."
"I was a bit surprised that they charge for bottled water. Also, the wood flooring in my room was warping and peeling up; luckily I brought my own thick slippers, otherwise it could have easily scratched my feet, which is quite dangerous. Besides that, the soundproofing is poor for rooms facing the street—the constant traffic noise made it difficult to fall asleep."
Bed was amazing
The location was excellent, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly.
I had requested a room upgrade as it was my 16-year-old‘s birthday and when we checked in, I asked about it and the receptionist said that yes we were upgraded for free. When we got to our room, it was very small and the most basic of rooms with nothing special. I have stayed there before and it was just a regular room. I was disappointed because she was so excited but I didn’t want to complain so we just enjoyed our stay as is.
We loved staying at Staypineapple! The location was perfect for attractions, food, drinks & people watching.
The staff was so kind, friendly & efficient. They were always ready to help with a smile .
The hotel was very clean. The cleaning staff was equally as nice as the front of house staff.
The coffee bar had very good coffee & the barista was personable & funny.
Overall we had a wonderful time & we will definitely return!
It was all lovely. No complaints or further suggestions from us.
Très bien placé. Très bon accueil. Tout confort.

Location, staff, quirky
A bit noisy next to metro rail: but that’s the deal being right downtown
This property offered SO many amenities! We got a refrigerator brought up to our room. We got double drink vouchers because it was my birthday. They had bikes you can sign in and out for use. They had umbrellas by the door to borrow. The comforters were literally a DREAM. The windows opened just enough to get some fresh air in. They offered robes in the room. They had a very inviting lobby that included a cafe for breakfast! The staff is the BEST here! So friendly and welcoming! Almost like talking to friends!
The TV in our room only worked with Netflix. Regular TV wouldn’t load for us. Kept freezing the entire TV. And the tv screen would get SO dark after like 30 min so we had to keep turning it off and on to reset it. Our room was also a little dusty and the charging stations they offered were sooooo slow. Took us all night to charge our power banks.
Second time here and there’s a reason for the repeat business. Great location (took the light rail from Seattle airport to within a ten minute walk of the hotel) downtown. Easily walk to Pike Place Market and also the convention center from the hotel.
The employees are genuine, friendly and helpful - starting with Karin at the front desk. Surprised she hasn’t been hired away yet 🙂
Owen quickly fixed an issue with our room and Veronica was great taking care of our housekeeping requests.
Highly recommended. Will always stay here for trips back to Seattle.
I will always choose a Staypineapple hotel if there is one in the city I'm traveling to. Especially when I bring my dog with me.
There are several locations in the Seattle area but my most used location is Belltown, Hotel Five. It's easy access to most of the things I get up to when visiting downtown. The atmosphere is funky chic, with well appointed rooms that are always clean and comfortable.
Value? It's on par with other hotels in the area. But what you get here is; location, comfort and great staff who are always glad to see you and help if needed.
I've never had a problem with the noise level at this hotel, even though it's in the heart of Belltown, not from other hotel guests or from the street.
But, for me, the best amenity at this hotel is their love of dogs. The staff always greet my dog as if he is a valued guest. They provide dog beds, reusable water/food bowls and treats.
Try a Staypineapple hotel if there is one where you are traveling. You won't be sorry.
Amara was amazing and SO accommodating in like, 6 different ways! She is so charming and really went out of our way to make sure we had an awesome time!
Booked this hotel to be in town for the Seahawks parade. Perfect location to West Lake Center. The hotel has a cute dog theme to make this pet friendly hotel feel modern and welcoming to your fur babies.
The staff was so nice and helpful, plus the onsite coffee and drinks with fun games in the lobby had us hanging around not needing to search for a close by store or cafe for coffee. But if you prefer that, there are many food options close by!
The rooms were cute and clean and the beds were comfy. The paid parking offered onsite was so helpful as we drove in and felt comfortable with our car having a spot for much of the next day (noon check out but can park until 4 pm!)
My new GO TO stay in Seattle for sure!
We came here from Texas and California to visit family. We booked our reservation three months ago and we're not informed on all the hidden fees. We had planned to stay here for six days, but when we found out the price had practically doubled we decided to stay one night.
Because we stayed one night it was $253 instead of $120 a night.
We were told by the receptionist that she had nothing to do with us not getting the price that we should have.
We had requested a refrigerator as well as as amenities to be set up for our cat, they were not provided..
This hotel is not worth the money that we had to pay and would have paid. Had we continued to stay here.
Do your due diligence and get things in writing before you arrive because they are deceptive.
I would not recommend this hotel.
How it was close to everything in town and the theme of pineapples.
The parking was way too small, I couldn’t fit at all and had to park elsewhere.
This place was cute but a number of issues that would not bring me back.
Positives: as mentioned the concept is cute, and we got a reasonable rate
the front desk staff were very nice,
the lobby area has a cool laid back feel to it
Negatives: The building itself is pretty dated and just felt a little old and tired
Felt more like a hostel than a decent hotel
The location was OK but not great and noisey at night
The amenities fee that I just saw on my final bill that was emailed after I left. There is no amenities value provided. Looking at reviews now I see that is a constant issue brought up and a practice I detest, just give me the total price.
We booked two nights but ended up only staying one and going to another hotel
From Checking in with Amara and Arieille to getting advise from Nessie on how delicious your town can be, it was a stay that was too perfect. It is close to the train that takes you everywhere. Walking distance from Needle. Hotel Coffee was delish, and of course, they had these delicious biscuits with their signature pineapple embedded on each. What a perfect pairing. Fun area with free Pac Man and Galaga....took me to another time. Also other games like the Giant scrable board that we listed the best times and things we loved. Never bored, even if you had extra time. Super Dog Freindly. My Husky DV just enjoyed it us staying there, cause there were always treats. Room and staff was amazingly. Going again soon
