We had a wonderful stay at the Mediterranean Hotel. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive.
Special mention to Zenon, who organized a fantastic birthday surprise for my wife with exceptional dedication and attention to detail — truly unforgettable.
The spa facilities were excellent and very clean. Breakfast and dinner offered great variety and high quality food.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations and we would gladly stay again.
The bed was slightly firm for our personal preference, and the indoor pool temperature was a bit cooler than expected.
We stayed at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in February and overall had a very pleasant experience.
The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The main bed in our room was extremely comfortable. For families, it’s useful to know that the second “extra bed” is not a classic pull-out sofa. There are foldable beds stored under the main bed that are pulled out and made up when needed, plus a sofa bed for one person. This setup offers flexibility for families with several children.
Breakfast had a wide variety of options and everything was fresh. Although the selection was the same each day, there was enough choice to enjoy it. The only downside was the coffee from the machine, which we did not like. However, the filtered coffee (Nescafé-style) worked much better for us.
The garden area and pools outside are beautiful and very well kept. You can walk around, sit in many different spots, and enjoy the surroundings. In February it was quiet and peaceful, which made it even more enjoyable. Most family rooms are on the ground floor, so we could step directly outside into the garden area. There are also swings for children.
The private beach in front of the hotel is another highlight. The sun loungers all have thick, soft mattresses, which gives the whole area a rather elegant feel. Even in February, with around 19°C and sunshine, we were able to relax while the children played on the beach and collected shells.
Parking is free and convenient, which is a big advantage. Even in low season the car park was almost full, so in high season it might be more challenging, but during our stay we always found a spot.
The staff were consistently friendly and kind. Overall, the hotel felt like a solid four-star property — clean, well cared for, and pleasant throughout.
The biggest disappointment was the indoor pool and spa area. We chose this hotel partly because we expected to use the indoor pool with the children in winter. Unfortunately, the area is not heated properly and feels very cold. The pool room itself is dark during the day, as there is little lighting, and overall it feels outdated.
Although we were told the pool temperature was 28°C, it felt noticeably colder (closer to 27°C or below). The children went in briefly, but for adults it was quite uncomfortable. When stepping out of the water, the cold air made it even less pleasant.
The public sauna and wellness area also feel old and in need of renovation. The jacuzzi looks very outdated 80ies plastic tab, and the sauna and steam room are quite small. The whole space does not reflect what one would expect from a four-star hotel. There is a nicer “VIP” spa section, but the general wellness area could definitely benefit from refurbishment. If you are there in summer, i guess the pools outside are very nice.
because of the carnival festivities they were unable to host our car in the parking lot. We had to walk and cross the street to go to a public parking lot and pay extra.
Cleanless, cozy atmosphere and good location
The bathroom need some renovation😇
Breakfast good , nice pool area. Sauna steam good.
Bed was a bit stiff.
