Breakfast is over pric
Breakfast is overpriced.
Breakfast was horrible, cold scrambled eggs, hard bacon. That used to be free now it’s $17.99 each. Not worth it. The shuttle to the cruise port was $15 each that used to be free. The room price was $440 USD per night the heater in one room did not work at all only in the bedroom. They are nickel and dimming us now. The restaurant is just a small little place but 4 burgers with fries came to $135.
The restaurant was good
Area very sketchy, wouldn’t walk it at night. Staff was rude. Hotel is old, but maintained. It has no pool. They do not offer free breakfast. I expected a lot more for $270 per night
This is a no frills hotel. Check-in easy with nice staff. The food was decent as I only had a cheeseburger for dinner. Room could use a facelift in the near future, but I was only here overnight for business meeting not far away. The stay is fine if you're in transit.
Stayed before a cruise. Nice folks, reasonably clean. Parked our car there while on a 12 day cruise, there was a cost, but it was reasonable. Decent but small restaurant, but good food. Bus set up to get to the cruise terminal, at a cost. But I would stay again.
The bed was comfortable and the bar area was nice
Torn curtains in the lounge area and worn cushions. Looked old and tired
Very good location, especially for those that go on cruises out of Port Everglades.
The property seems to be getting a little worn out. We’ve had issues the last few stays. This time it was the lack of any body wash in the shower. We had to use the hand soap dispenser from the sink. The in room coffee maker didn’t work until I fixed it. And, there was no coffee in the lobby. Just doesn’t seem to offer much value for the cost being charged.
Evening front desk crew were very nice. That's about it.
Never called when room was ready like they said. We asked for a quiet room when booking and they couldn't have given us more of the opposite. Room was over the main entrance and next to elevator.
Room, location
Check in, Alex specifically, condescending, not welcoming.
Clean and accessibility to cruise port

Good location of you want close to airport
No complimentary breakfast
Good location for cruises. Beds were comfortable.
Room smelled like mildew. Thermostat did not work. Cold air could not be controlled. We had maintenance come to room and disable the system. They told us heat was not available and thermostat was not operational.
Was close to our cruise ship.
The toilet didn’t work, we had to lift the lid and use our hand to get it to flush. There was lots of mold in the toilet.
If you just need a bed before your cruise, this is fine. Breakfast is only worth it if you get it included with your loyalty status. It is not worth $17.99 a person. Few yogurts, runny hotel eggs. Nothing fancy. Hotel has a free shuttle but budget at least 45 minutes for that.
We selected this hotel as the layover prior to our Fort Lauderdale cruise. We were not disappointed. Our room was ready earlier than check-in but traffic delayed our arrival. Once there Michelle checked in promptly and with a friendly demeanor. Hotel specifics were explained with a smile.
Our 4th floor room was spacious and modestly appointed. Some expected wear and tear given the fact that rooms turn over daily with cruise ship and airport departures. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet for sleeping. The room did include a mini fridge and microwave in addition to a small desk and sofa.
The bathroom was large, hot water and water pressure was good.
We opted to dine in their 1800 Bistro for an early evening snack. Bartender Fran was helpful, prompt, and courteous despite an influx of additional patrons. Food and drink was tasty and you could not beat the convenience.
Morning breakfast was excellent and delicious which highlighted the unusually good preparation. Nashan and Karen kept the food well stocked and the tables clean. Both went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. We enjoyed them and they should be commended for their friendly service.
Later on check out Alex offered some additional information which we appreciated. All in all we found the property clean and comfortable and the staff over and above in friendliness. We will not hesitate to stay here again on a future Fort Lauderdale cruise.
