hotel was a bit run down but functional. didnt have the strength to open a stairwell door ut we could avoid using it to get around.

The mattress was extremely hard—easily the most uncomfortable hotel mattress I’ve ever slept on. It felt almost as though the pillow top had been completely worn down and was overdue for replacement.

The biggest issue, however, was the condition and availability of the advertised amenities. The hotel website lists a pool, spa/hot tub, and gym as amenities. When I went down to use the gym in the morning, I found it empty and was told that it was out of service. The spa/hot tub was also closed and literally boarded up with plywood. Had I known these amenities were unavailable when booking, I would have chosen a different hotel.

The cleanliness of the room was another major concern. There appeared to be what looked like soda splatter on the walls. I actually wiped down the walls myself because I didn’t want to risk being blamed for the mess, leaving the room cleaner than when I arrived. The sheets also had stains that made me question whether they had been properly changed or washed after the previous guest.

The breakfast selection itself was underwhelming, although, as mentioned, the employee working the breakfast area was doing her best to keep things stocked and clean.

The pool may be large, but it was also visibly dirty, with black buildup along the walls of the pool.

Overall, the property feels like it has received a series of quick, inexpensive fixes rather than meaningful upkeep. The whole place gives off a “landlord special” vibe. The staff deserves credit for being friendly and hardworking, but the condition of the hotel, uncomfortable mattress, cleanliness issues, and unavailable amenities made this a very disappointing stay.

If the hotel is going to advertise amenities like a gym and hot tub, those amenities should either be available or their closure should be clearly disclosed before guests book.

The staff was horrible. I understand it was late at night, but that’s still no excuse for the way we were treated. Because of the poor service and the issues we had trying to check in, we ended up sleeping in our car that night. The next day, we went to a different hotel and received excellent service. It really showed us the difference that kindness, professionalism, and good customer service can make.

Nothing it was a nice room with a comfortable .bed.

Shabby part of town

It was difficult to use the shower as you needed to oress very hard before shower worked and it spewed cokd water all over you before struggling to get hot water,

The area was very sketchy and when we checked in they said they weren’t going to lock the gate that night because they were expecting a lot of guests. We did not feel safe leaving our belongings in the parking lot overnight.
Also, the pool was closed all night despite us being told they were just cleaning and it would be open in 20min. Our nephew was very disappointed

TV small and no cable channel to watch

Not in a convenient location for walking.
