Had a little problem checking in. The credit card that booking.com sent the hotel got declined repeatedly. Veronica (hotel front desk) was diligent and finally was able to get us checked in.
La habitación estaba asquerosa la tina sucias y demasiado polvo, yo no soy de calificar mal a los hoteles pero este hotel ha sido el más sucio que me he quedado
The construction mess more than a mess. Only one elevator worked and it was pretty dirty. It wasn’t just one day of dirty on floor of it! The hair dryer in the room was pretty dirty with makeup or something on it from a previous guest.
Bed was very comfortable and the staff were very nice at checking in and out! I The breakfast was a total let down with only one waffle maker that currently being used and couple waiting to use it!
The garbage truck outside my window
Clean and and quiet
The AC in our room didn't work very well
Shower. didn't work. Took a 24hr to get fix
Easy location off I-65. Decent breakfast included.
Unfortunately, the n8ght we stayed the order at the pool was so strong my granddaughter said it bothered her. We didn't get to swim.
Everything
Just the elevator making funky noises otherwise everything was great
I am a fairly frequent guest in hotels. My experience at Hampton Inn Indianapolis South was really just exceptional. Besides the nice and clean appearance, and that the management had the heavy snow totally cleared from the lot.......I was so impressed by the person behind the desk who had booked me over the phone dealing with my wife. The person who helped us was " SHILPA ", and she's really special.
So very friendly and GENUINE !
She made my day after traveling a long way in bad weather. Her personality and kind attitude really touched me.
Hopefully , Shilpa will hear that I was very impressed.
Thank You
Breakfast buffet was excellent
Room had a sewage smell to it.
This hotel is pet friendly which was the main reason we chose it.
The pet area was a little out of the way.
Warm cozy room
Bump at start of steep entrance.
Location and easy access is always a biggie.
There was a large group of soccer families and the parents did not keep an eye on the kids. Kids were running around the lobby, running in and out of the pool area-dripping wet-and I to the gym/exercise room. Playing with the elevators. The person at the desk was busy trying to keep an eye on the shenanigans that were going on and doing her job. It did quiet down at 1000 after being told of the quiet policy but started up first thing the next morning. Again-I blame the parents more than the staff/facilities.
